Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Great car - 2003 Honda Accord
By hdexplorer - January 18 - 10:00 amI brought my honda LX right off the truck in dec. In 5 months my new accord has 15,000 miles on it. Though I have a few miles more than others on my new car the milage is still good and it is still fun to drive. The only thing was when I had the air on full blast and drove above 65 I would hear a humming noise on the passenger side. I dont hear it anymore and neither did the dealer..Overall GREAT car I love it!

A lot of car for the money - 2003 Honda Accord
By SamSkaff2003 - January 18 - 10:00 amGot the car for 1.5K below sticker. San Marino Red with light badge interior. Test drove every car under the sun that was less then 30k, and kept coming back to this car. Everyone laughs when they hear I got an Accord becuase they know I am a huge auto enthuisist with two racing camaros, but once they see the car inside and out the general response is always..what is that?...that is an accord! Get the Nav system, it is AWESOME.

Good Value, Not Much Fun To Drive - 2004 Honda Accord
By Maile - January 15 - 10:33 pmOverall, the Accord was a great value however it is just not that much fun to drive. The engine has enough HP to get up and going, yet lacks sport car quality. The reliability, roominess of the interior, and great financing rates prompted my decision to buy this car. The car produces a moderate amount of road noise too; It is not quiet. I looked at the Acura TL and will be trading in the Accord. The Acura still has great value and is the Accords luxury sport version that appeals to those who want a car that is stylish and fun to drive. The Accord appealed to my practical side and the TL appealed to my senses as well. If you have a few extra bucks to spend it might be worth it.

Brand New Sport CVT! - 2013 Honda Accord
By flhondaowner - January 15 - 5:45 pmI purchased the 2013 Accord Sport in black last week. I chose the Sport model because I believe it looks nicer than a LX, and of course is roughly $2000 less than an EX. The base Accord comes with everything you need. Like many here, I have owned tons of makes including, SAAB, Audi, Honda, Buick, Chevy etc. The fit and finish on this Accord is really superb. I would not say it is in line with an Audi, but very close and much better than others. Each time I drive the car I find more and more features and driving the car is more fun each time as well. Also note: I actually like the looks of the 2013 Subaru Legacy Sport, but the Accord won on value. Also drove the Fusion and Altima.

Wouldnt Drive Anything Else - 2006 Honda Accord
By Gary in Illinois - January 15 - 12:33 pmThis is my 4th Accord and the best yet. I wanted something a little more upscale than my 04 Accord, so I looked at the Acura TL, Audi A4, and Cadillac CTS. I couldnt believe the new Accord would outweigh the TL or A4, but it did. It took a while for the front end design to grow on me. The 06 changes are very pleasing, and I think the new rear design looks like Cadillac designs. No more looking beyond the Accord for something more upscale. Im glad I looked, but much happier I stayed with the Accord. Quiet, comfortable, good looking, and a complete joy to drive. The best vehicle Ive owned in my 30-plus years of driving. Honda family. My wife drives an 05 Pilot and loves it.

Honda Quality and Custorme Care - 2005 Honda Accord
By GM - January 15 - 9:40 amPurchased an 05 Accord EX w/Leather in 10/04 from Performance Honda in Fairfield OH. By 11/04 the windshield began making noises. Tried twice to get this fixed and failed both times. Called Honda Care to complain about the car (not the dealer). With Honda Care involvement, the service manager decided to make it personal and the situation got ugly. Honda walked away from their responsibility and I lost a dealer I had been using for 15 years. Windshield still makes noises and the problem is spreading throughout the interior. The rear window, passenger side molding, drivers door window, etc., etc., all pop, creak and snap. All-in-all a most frustrating and unpleasant experience.

Not as Reliabe as I thought - 1998 Honda Accord
By STLbill7982 - January 15 - 1:50 amI purchased this 98 from my sister this September. I am disappointed with what I thought would be a reliable car. The car vibrates a lot at idle - it almost feels like a massage chair from the Sharper Image. The check engine light never turns off, even though the dealer assured me nothing is wrong. The car is noisy relative to GM cars that I have owned in the past. The rims make contact with curbs before the tires do, and as a result the rims are very scratched. The engine has littel power - sometimes I feel like I could get out and run faster.

My first honda - 2007 Honda Accord
By COOL BLUE LADY - January 14 - 4:30 amGreat gas mileage, like it much better than i thought i would. Love the cool blue color. This is my first 4-cy and it has much more power than i anticipated. Traded in a Chrysler concord, 180,000 miles. Miss my overhead information computer and power seats--and my automatic door locks. Also did not come with a cargo net for the trunk--has to be an additional purchase.

grumpy honda - 1993 Honda Accord
By grumpy car - January 13 - 2:18 pmGrumpy car. Doesnt like to start in the winter. Expensive to fix when the AC broke 2 times and a pain to fix when the car would randomly stall and not start again on hills. Espically during rush hour. The gear shift occasionally decides not to budge, leaving me without a ride. And the trunk and windows leak. otherwise, not bad
