As the model was fully redesigned for the 2003 model year, there are only a few changes on the 2004 Honda Accord. Availability of side curtain airbags has been expanded this year to four-cylinder EX models -- standard on those with leather, optional on cars with a cloth interior. All four- and six-cylinder EX models equipped with a leather interior now have XM Satellite Radio with three months of free service as standard equipment. And as with all Honda cars this year, a new seatbelt reminder system is standard. Accord models meeting California's stringent Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (PZEV) standards -- all four-cylinder sedans equipped with automatic transmission -- will also be sold in the states of New York, Maine, Vermont and Massachusetts.

Slight disappointment - 2004 Honda Accord
By sorges86 - September 15 - 10:00 amThis is my first honda. I bought the car primarily based on Hondas reputation for reliability. Since purchase, I have had one repetitive minor, though very annoying problem. The dashboard creaks and squeaks terribly on bumpy surfaces. I have had it back to the dealer three times, and they have been unable to repair the defect. For a top-of-the line model, I didnt expect this type of situation.

Great Car - 2004 Honda Accord

The ride is smooth as a babys bottom, and extremely quiet. The features and "toys" of the particular package I got, are just simply wonderful. The Nav system as well as the XM sat radio are just "FUN" to use and work with. I live in south Florida and the AC is awesome.

So far its lived up to all expectations -- with some extra luxuries thrown in. For instance: great sound system, six CD player, heated leather seats and quick start heating system. Only negative: it could use a rear windown wicper.

By monkshac - August 8 - 2:00 amThe Accord is truly an overachiever and provides you with the amenenities and performance of a $35k+ automobile (i.e. the Acura TL that Id almost bought before I decided to test drive the Accord). The 6 cyl. is absolutely necessary for anyone interested in not being a turtle. The nav system performs remarkably well and the new voice controls are very accurate and provide control over the majority of the cars features, all without forcing you to take your eyes from the road. (This becomes very important as the Accord likes to move as an Ohio State Trooper pointed out before Id even managed to shed my temporary tags.)

LOVE THIS CAR~ - 2004 Honda Accord
By JenJen123 - July 28 - 10:00 amI bought the LX-V6 because I wanted the power of a V-6, but didnt want all of the extras that the EX-V6 has. I paid EXACTLY what Edmunds TMV suggests. I strongly recommend doing your internet research before buying a car!
