Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Hybrid Mileage as Promised - 2005 Honda Accord
By Ventura, CA - March 5 - 8:10 pmI am getting mileage numbers similar to those claimed on the sticker, even slightly better on flat, straight stretches. All the high-tech systems work flawlessly, including the active noise-cancellation, voice recognition and awesome touch-screen navigation system. The stereo sounds great. Power is more than adequate, even superior to the Lexus IS300 that this car is replacing. The electric motor doesnt seem to kick in on start-up acceleration, but rather on full-throttle passing and moderate hill climbing, but the mileage numbers dont lie. The regenerative braking and eco mode (using 3 of the 6 cylinders) is noticeable when driving but not distracting. Electic boost works seemlessly.

Good Value - 2006 Honda Accord
By lawrence - March 4 - 8:53 am2006 EX-V6 Auto-5speed. This is my second Accord and 3rd Honda. The engine is very powerful and responsive. Im currently averaging 25mpg in mixed driving and 28 on mostly highway. The interior is fairly quiet: the front seats offer lots of support and the rear seats have more than ample leg room for a 6+ footer. The Grade Logic transmission takes some getting used to during deceleration. No regrets in the purchase, though.

Love My Honda - 2013 Honda Accord
By Natalie Cipriani - March 3 - 3:47 pmI absolutely LOVE this car! The ride is super smooth, the interior is beautifully laid out with quality materials. The exterior is eye catching. The only faults that I have found so far is that occasionally the CVT does not feel as though it engages properly. It just feels a little sluggish. Then other times, the car feels like it accelerates with ease. Also, the entertainment operating system has been glitchy...not unbearable, but glitchy. But overall, this is an INCREDIBLE vehicle! I LOVE IT!

Didnt like it at first, now I LOVE it! - 2003 Honda Accord
By HAD - March 2 - 10:00 amJust got the car last month for my wife. I have never liked the new redesigned exterior, but after seeing the car in black (the only color in which I think it looks nice) I had to have it. The car is a DREAM! It feels SO much MORE expensive than it is and Ill be damned if that 4 banger doesnt feel like a V6 - its THAT smooth and powerful! The ride, engine, transmission are SO smooth - like BUTTER! And I absolutely LOVE the interior of this car - you CANNOT get any better than thism especially in this price range! This car just EXUDES quality and the interior oozes luxury.

Much improved over 1998-2002 series - 2003 Honda Accord
By Bumbie - March 2 - 10:00 amOur fourth Accord and by far the best yet! Hard to improve on a well designed and built sedan but Honda has done it again. When will the Big 3 ever get it. Fit and finish always outstanding on the product.

great but it rattles - 2003 Honda Accord
By randerso8336 - March 2 - 10:00 amGreat car, love the stlye and ride. If only they would get rid of the rattles. When it is very hot in the car the plastic seems like it is going to melt and then rattle off. Before the car warmed up when it was cold out the car would vibrate when put in gear.

The best car, EVER. - 1997 Honda Accord
By juanHonda - February 28 - 7:27 pmWe bought this car in Oct/2001 with 105,000 miles. The car has been prefect so far. The most reliable car we ever had. MINIMUM MAINTENANCE REQUIRED, if you like to stay away from the shops, this is the car for you. These are the only few repairs done to the car so far: CV axles and transmission fluid at 140,000 miles $400.00, front rotors and pads @ 150,000, $250.00,timing belt and serpentine belts replaced at 163,000, $300.00, 2 tune ups and regular synthetic oil changes, aprox, $300.00. Awesome thats $0.02 a mile!

Run away - 2010 Honda Accord
By goodtymz - February 27 - 10:56 amRun as fast as you can from this jalopy! This is the 2nd Accord I bought and hated both of them and both dealers. Build quality is garbage! Sold this junker after 1 month because of shaking in front end transmission jerking, wind/road noise, dashboard does not even touch windshield (check any of them) this car is another joke from a company milking past quality! Gm did the same thing and look at them now--- buy an infiniti you will be treated as you should be any time you go to a dealer and that will only be for oil changes! Trust me spend the extra and be happy --life is too short to deal with this garbage company and their garbage products/dealerships! Run and run fast
