Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Could be better - 2007 Honda Accord
By sven - March 24 - 10:53 amOverall the car has been mechanically reliable and runs great but with only 7000 miles its not saying much. The body integrity is horrible. The drivers door flexes, creaks and rattles in a way thats unacceptable for a $20,000 new car. Ive been to the dealer 3 times to fix it to no avail. However, if the windows cracked open slightly the rattle almost disapears.

Buyers Remorse - 2008 Honda Accord
By Dolce - March 23 - 5:26 pmJust traded in my 03 Toyota Highlander, which I absolutely adored to buy this Accord. I am so very disappointed with the gas mileage! My Highlander was doing the same! I traded in my beautiful Highlander for a couple of miles less than the Accord. So, for this reason, Im sick. I traded for better mileage, and this is what I got. Eventually will trade it in for something more fuel efficient, hoping the gas prices wont make it depreciate more. I could kick myself! I miss my baby!!

Keeps gettting better - 2001 Honda Accord
By First import - March 22 - 10:00 amBought the vehicle new, have had no problems to date, Honda sent out 100,000 mile transmission warranties for problems the auto had to all buyers. I have yet had any problems with the trans. I did have to replace the coolant sooner that maint. req. The dealer recommends 30,000 intervals. Gas mileage is consistent, with the right oil. 5W-20 is recommended. I am getting 20 mpg in town, 29 hwy at 75mph. Have been very impressed with this vehicle, it just keeps getting better. Only draw back is poor paint quality on the hood and front bumper.

Simple and Reliable - 2009 Honda Accord
By Jeson - March 22 - 5:40 amI test drove 09 models of Nissan Altima, Mazda 6, Ford Fusion and Hyundai Sonata. Honda Accord is the best choice, no doubt. I concede that Nissan Altima and Mazda 6 are little more fun to drive with their sporty look and more torque with better acceleration. However, when you realize the difference in the comfort, handling and smoothness of the Honda Accord, there is no need of second guessing yourself. Also the backseat leg space is ample.

Dont expect any bells or whistles without leather - 2015 Honda Accord
By Rob Nowell - March 20 - 10:33 amWe bought the EX, one step up from the LX. We did not want leather seats. Unfortunately, without leather, the cars does not have the niceties which are standard on seemingly every other car on the market: XM radio; homelink garage opener; several USB ports; several cupholders; automatic day/night rearview mirror (a $300+ option). While the comfort and build quality far exceeds that of our 2012 Altima (which is loaded with options), I really miss the bells and whistles.
