Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

The car is excellent, well built and that is why I always buy Honda accord. This my third accord and best ever. Fun to drive, has everything luxury cars have for less money. I had 2003 v6 accord, drove it for 200K and sold it for 8 grand!

  • Buyers, Beware of the Stereo. - 2016 Honda Accord
    By -

After taking delivery of EX-L NAVI and driving couple of days, I started to notice there is sound re-production is not well so I thought that it might be the audio settings to tune with. I make the changes in sound settings by changing BASS, TREBEL as well Subwoofer. After making changes to the audio settings, still there is an issue with the sound quality. At least Im not expecting this kind of worst sound quality from the premium audio system. After few days, Ive noticed that what settings which Ive made for volume is changed to the lowest level at 10 and I correctly remembered that Ive set to 15. I thought it might be my oversight so Ive continuously observed the behavior. Ive reported issues with the stereo due to the settings were not saved and sound quality is not good specifically with the FM and XM. After investigation, the service advisor reported back that there is nothing wrong with stereo. I was not convinced with the response. After that incident I’ve started continuously monitoring the stereo performance. Again, I’ve noticed that the stereo screens are not changing when I change the channels on the radio. I thought that might be intermittent issue and ignored at that day. On subsequent days, I’ve noticed that the stereo screen is freezing and it does not correctly report currently playing channel. So I took my vehicle to the dealership and explained the service advisor what is happening and showed him a video about the stereo behavior. After the investigation, I got call from the service advisor that my vehicle is ready to be picked up. So I went to dealership to pick up the car. The next morning, the issue again comes up and I went back to the dealership to report the issue. This time, the other service advisor has seen the issue and acknowledges it. He re-opened the previous RO for further investigation. After the feedback from Honda, they replaced the Tuner board in car. After 3 days, the same issue arises and I went to dealership to report the problem and for resolution. The service advisor told me that they have to replace the entire stereo unit. Till now, the resolution is not happened. My advice to every buyer of this model to thoroughly check the stereo prior to making any purchase decision. I believe this is the issue with all models. As most people does have a navigation screen on the main display screen and they may not be able to notice this weird behavior.

  • Cant Go Wrong - 2008 Honda Accord

So...Im at the honda dealer getting my oil change and saw how nice the 08 coupe looked, what a beauty! So I traded in my 06 and got this one. Best buy ever!! I mean, it handles so well, turn radius actually got smaller, and not to mention how sexy this car looks. The V6 manual transmission is still fairly new to me and having to readjust from driving a V4. The coupe responds so well to acceleration, even at low rpms. Gears are a bit tricky but Ive only had the car for a week, so im still learning her. But major complaints, its definitely a very fun car to drive and handles smoothly. I cant wait to break her in and really test her.

Great car. Exhaust and brakes needed repair sooner than expected. Not the greatest vehicle for winter driving.

  • If you need a nice sedan, get an Accord - 2007 Honda Accord

This is one of the nicest mid sized sedans out there. Its roomy, quick, nimble, and has some really cool features. We crossed shopped this model with the Camry equivalent and the Accord just blew the Camry out of the water. Its a very nice step up from a 2000 Toyota Camry LE. The V6 is an extra nice feature. I dont know how we ever lived without a V6 in a midsized sedan. The power is always there.

  • Great Dependable Cat - 1992 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought a new 92 Honda Accord EX 2DR coupe in Mar 1993 and traded in a 1985 Honda Accord. This has been a great car and very dependable. During the first 100,000 miles I had no problems what so ever. I did all the scheduled maintenance and changed the oil regularly using Mobil 1 Synthetic. Always tried to use genuine Honda parts. Recently had to replace the radiator and the clutch after 143000 miles. I bought a 2004 Acura TL last year but could not get myself to trade in the Honda, so I kept it. I still use the Honda to drive to work and whenever the weather is bad. Change the timing belt every 60,000 miles and the car will last. This is a super car!

  • Higher level thinking. - 2005 Honda Accord
    By -

We like our new Accord a lot, it seems much improved over previous models in overall comfort and looks. I think it looks a lot richer than the old body style did too. Every aspect of this car shows of higher level thinking on Hondas part. I wouldnt hesitate to recomend this car to anyone looking for good fuel milage in a well rounded sedan in the low 20s

  • Just Bought my first Honda :-))) - 2004 Honda Accord

After considering the Passat and the option to buy a used BMW, Audi, etc. I settled on the 2004 Accord EX/V-6. I just picked it up this weekend. It came in PERFECT condition. XM radio is great. I bought it from Metro Honda in RI - GREAT place to buy a car - straight talk and honest! It has all of the bells and whistles one could ask for and is VERY reasonably priced. (Not to mention the good feeling knowing that there are 8 airbags in it - just in case). The V-6 really moves this machine! Safety, good performance and good price - what else could I ask for!

Got rid of my 2006 AUDI A6 and bought this. Thousands of dollars cheaper! Runs better than AUDI A6 - Better Mileage + more HP. Bought last week ( 10/14/2008 ) 2008 Accord v6 at $5000 below MSRP and LOVE IT!
