Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • We Love Our Honda - 2004 Honda Accord

Our car is a pleasure to drive--we feel like a million bucks in it. We traded in our 1987 Honda Accord with 250,000 miles on it for the 2005 Honda Accord V6. Our old car was great, but what an improvement in the 2005! It is the best car on the road. The only thing we are trying to rectify is a sound/vibration noise/feel under the accelerator pedal at times. The dealership is working on this for us. Otherwise we are happy campers, unless the dealer doesnt resolve this one problem. Time will tell. Thanks Honda Corp. for your fine automobile and keep up the good work and we will definately be another repeat buyer.

  • GREAT CAR - 2000 Honda Accord

This car is the funnest thing to drive. It has a surprisingly powerful 4 cylinder engine. The front end of the car is a little boring but the back end is so cool. Nothing has ever gone wrong with my Honda. Its the greatest. Although the interier design is a little boring the engine makes up for it. And the sunroof should slide all the way back in stead of stopping almost half way.

Tranmission replaced at 56,000. Tranmission going out again at 85,000. This will be 2nd tranmission in under 100,000 miles. Not reliable. Failed emissions test the first year I had it due to recall. Poor Honda customer service. This car is a money pit.

  • Great!! - 2008 Honda Accord

Ive had this car about 2 years now and am at 55k miles. This car is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. I do a ton of driving for my job and can get up to 34 mpg driving on the hwy. You cant beat that with a car that looks and performs like the 2dr accord. The only maintenance Ive had outside of oil changes and tire rotations is having to replace the rear break pads at 52k. I cant say enough about this car, if you are looking for a dependable good looking car, get the accord, you wont be disappointed.

  • NOT boring - 2005 Honda Accord

The Accord tends to get slammed in competitors ads for being boring. Believe me, its not. In fact, I was originally drawn to the Mazda6 for the sporty nature of the car, but I was wary of the cars unknown build quality and decided to go with a vehicle I knew would hold up over the long haul. I have not been disappointed. The Accord is surprisingly satisfying to drive - it holds a good line in corners, the gearbox is just a step below that in my old Miata, its quiet, economical, reasonably quick, well-built, and the quality of the interior materials is top-notch. The front seats are exceptionally comfortable, and the power seat makes it easy to find a good driving position.

  • My First Love - 2004 Honda Accord

My first Honda, drives great, gotta love the I-vtec. I have the 4cyl and it kicks. 160hp is not bad for the price.

  • great car - 2008 Honda Accord

I expected to be buying a value-family sedan, but instead I got a great- driving, leather-comfy driving car. It drives better than the 2002 A4 1.8T I replaced. The auto-transmission is quite sporty and 4 cylinder engine is more than enough power. It even has the auto-dimming rear-view mirror.

Despite the 246,000 miles on the odometer, this car remains a reliable daily driver.

  • Honda Accord 2000 - 2000 Honda Accord

I believe this is the most reliable car out in the street in its category. It never failed on me at 92,000 miles. Ride quality though is affected by the kind of tires. My original MXV4 plus were the best in cornering and hadling, but my replacement, Michelin X Radial (from Sams) got very harsh and bumpy as they age. My car is still very solid. I love it, and will keep it. My next vehicle is , for sure, another Honda Accord.

  • Worlds greatest-150k and running - 1998 Honda Accord
    By -

I am on my second Honda, over 150K. I had an 84 Accord in high school, and I know I would own a new one post graduation. Ive driven Cadillac, Buick, Olds, Toyota, Ford, Mazda, Nissan.... Dont compare, dont compete!! Love my Honda, plan to get SUV or Ridgeline in near future. Classy car for a single mom with boys. They cant wait to sport it. Honda, please give me more power, maybe a V8? Otherwise, LOVE LOVE LOVE my HONDA! replaced EGR valve and 2 motormounts, 2 recalls on ignition switch, and I still love it, glad I went with coupe instead of sedan (due to transmission issues I was warned of by Honda Technicians)
