Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Excellent choice - 1998 Honda Accord
By cl8855 - May 17 - 3:50 pmThis was the first car I bought myself 7 years ago. Choices were things like the Nissan Maxima, Volkswagen Passat, Chevy Malibu and the Accord. Boy am I glad I chose this one. Reasons for purchase were #1 reliability, #2 fit and finish, #3 good pricing (cheaper than both Passat and Maxima). Over the years I have replaced only the tires and the brakes in 75000 miles. Not once have I had to bring it in to the shop for any reason other than standard maintenance. Plan on keeping this car for another 7 yrs/75000 miles for sure.

Almost Perfect - 2008 Honda Accord
By Cucamarimba - May 14 - 11:20 pmFirst Honda and it is no disappointment. Rides and handles very well, goes where you aim it with a very, very smooth transmission. Not what I would call exciting to drive, but very nice to drive. Interior and exterior design is attention getting. More than enough power to do what you need and lots of luxury features. Quality seems to be top notch in general. It is not broken in yet (only had it a week) and it is getting over 27 mpg combined. For me it was the best combination of price, fuel economy, power, handling and styling. Other cars in the class are kind of boring.

Honda - 1992 Honda Accord
By Bob - May 14 - 8:33 pmThis car has given us many great miles, but the transmission is wearing out. At 13 years old, this car could use new struts, tie-rod ends, and shocks.

I love my Honda! - 2001 Honda Accord
By jobird - May 14 - 2:00 amI absolutely love my Honda Accord. I used to own a Pontiac Grand Am that was ALWAYS in the shop after getting rid of it and purchasing the Accord there is no comparsion. Just follow the maintenance schedule and get your oil changed every 3,000 - 6,000 miles depending on how hard you drive your car and you will be impressed. I travel quite frequently around the state and I always feel confident and comfortable in my car. My sisters both drive Hondas and swear by them as well!

2004 Accord EX 4DR w/Leather - 2004 Honda Accord
By ldzppln - May 14 - 2:00 amI bought my new Accord EX 4DR with (heated!) leather seats the Saturday after Thanksgiving (2003). I was out of town for the long weekend, visiting with family, and decided it was a good time to buy a new car. The 240 miles Ive already put on the Accord have been fun. I was driving a 95 Civic before, and will probably drive this car for 8-10 years, so I wanted to go all out and get the best car I could for the money. Heated leather seats, dual climate control, side (curtain) airbags, AM/FM/XM radio (XM is free for 3 months, $10/month thereafter)in-dash 6 CD player, 16 inch alloy wheels... I could go on and on. Its a great car!

Great Car - 2004 Honda Accord
By jonleef - May 14 - 2:00 amI had to buy the car after extensive research of the competitors in this class. I just could not find a comparable car for the same price when taking into account the total package of power, interior features, reliability and safety ratings, gas mileage, great engine and use of regular unleaded fuel. The 2004 Accord is an immense improvement over the 1994 Accord which I felt was a great car.

Best Buy for 4 bangers! - 2017 Honda Accord
By Tswv Yeej - May 13 - 10:33 pmDesign is appealing and slick, turns heads. Interior looks/feels rich. Instrument well designed, with balanced brightness at night. Headlights sufficient brightness, taillights gorgeous at night. Leather Seats are comfortable and easy to adjust (power mode), seats warmer both side (driver/passenger). Stereo volume sufficient, controls on steering wheel makes it effortless to control/adjust/change channel. Leather wrapped steering wheel feels rich and smooth. Cabin is roomy front/back, trunk sufficient space. Ride is comfortable. "S" mode makes car glue on road, increase engine response which translates for faster acceleration. Small wind noise at center of driver side window at 65+ mph. Engine super quiet at idle and roars at high rpm. Transmission shifting super smooth, unnoticeable. Great gas mileage. Overall, car is best buy in my book.

A good value but a noisy vehicle - 2005 Honda Accord
By tomr - May 13 - 5:33 pmI just bought my 2005 EX 3 weeks ago. It met a number of important needs that other cars I looked at couldnt; fuel economy, backseat leg room, and a reasonable price. This is my second Honda Accord. Honda was discounting the cars below invoice which added to what I perceived as a good value. My only complaint, but its a biggy, is the amount of road/tire and wind noise that makes its way to the cabin. The noise is most prevalent on highways with a high amount of aggregate -- unfortunately this accounts for most of my travel. I initially thought something was wrong with the vehicle but my dealership insists the noise is "normal".
