Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Still Please after 4 accords - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

This is the fourth accord our family has owned and all have been very reliable. In fact, our last accord went 150,000 (prior to selling) without any problems. Probably what inspired our purchase of the 2003 model. Im a little concerned about all the negative reviews but Honda hasnt failed us yet and Im hoping these are minority of the 2003 models with these problems. All is all we have been very happy with performance, price, reliability and 35 MPG. I certainly cant understand how someone is claiming to get between 15-25mpg.

Great little car, fun to drive, very nice quality---but not fun to ride very far because of seat comfort.

  • Overall an Excellent Vehicle - 2009 Honda Accord

This is absolutely one of the best cars Ive ever owned. Ride quality, quality of workmanship, handling, performance are all excellent. It is a fun car to drive. I can find nothing negative about this vehicle. The seats are very comfortable. This is an excellent vehicle for the price. Comparatively speaking, I consider it equal to Mercedes, Audis, and BMWs.

I love this car, it is one heck of a car for the price. Performance is amazing, and it handles great in snow. No Problems!

  • Honda lover but Accord 2016 dissapointed me - 2016 Honda Accord
    By -

I am a Honda lover but after buying Accord 2016 and using it for so many days, I feel Honda Accord CVT version is not worth money paid, specifically for ride comfort, noisier cabin and stereo. The stereo as Honda indicates a premium stereo with 360W is not equivalent to 30W stereo. On the ride comfort I can even feel the a small pot holes. I dont even get blind spot even after paying such a high amount for EX-L. I totally dissapointed with Accord 2016.

  • Excellent car - 2001 Honda Accord

This is my first hounda car. I bought it used and I must thank previous owner for his immaculate maintainence of the car. I have put on 20k miles on it in 15 months. I love this car and there is nothing that I feel, I would like to complain about it. One minor thing I noticed was in the city I get about 17 mpg. However on highways I have noticed more than 30 mpg as long as I stay around 70 mph (with ac/heater on). I highly recommend this car to everyone.

  • Best Midsize - 2005 Honda Accord

This is my second Accord. First was a 2001 that had no problems (except a sqeaky brake pedal). This 05 has reduced wind noise, a smoother ride, and excellent safety ratings. My gas mileage has also improved. I get 28- 30 of mixed city/highway driving. Interior is excellent. Im not crazy about the exterior styling, but it is growing on me. The added spoiler improves its looks.

  • Something to think about!! - 2017 Honda Accord
    By -

just bought this 2017 accord exl-v6 in white. Mud guards were not in the picture when I bought it. So I have a white car with black mud guards. Noticed it right away and do not like the look. Changes the sleek look. When shifting into gears the only letters that light up in red are Park and Neutral. I have to double check on the dash to see if Im in drive or S mode. A simple thing thats very annoying. Not heres the biggest annoyance........when driving over 30 mph and then let up on the pedal because of a red light coming up ( or whatever) you can feel the car down shift into a lower gear. Dont like that feel. Will be taking it back to have checked. Maybe it needs to be tweaked !! Otherwise......was really wowed when I bought.

  • Nice Car! - 2009 Honda Accord

Ive been driving my Honda for about a month. Ive driven it on the interstate, on country roads and in town and am very pleased with the performance, comfort and fuel efficiency. I was worried about comfort when I read the reviews but I think the seats are fine. I am looking forward to trying out these heated seats. I think the stereo system is great. Im hooked on satellite radio now though so thats going to be an added expense for me. When I was looking for a new car, it came down to this or the Chevy Malibu. The reliability of Honda won me over. Well see if Im still driving this at 100,000+ miles - I hope so.
