Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Excessive Wind Noise - 2016 Honda Accord
By PG - June 20 - 10:14 amI have owned this car for a little over a month now. This fluttering noise from the drivers side window is very annoying. This issue is still there after multiple visits to the dealership wasting a lot of time to get a BRAND NEW car fixed. Each time they are able to acknowledge the problem, but are unable to fix it. Honda told me that they did not promise to sell me a defect free car and will not even offer a loaner while a brand new car is in the shop at least once in a week. After owning three Accords before this one, I am very disappointed in Honda. This car is great on mileage and there hasnt been any major mechanical issues.

Best Car - 1998 Honda Accord
By Super Fry - June 20 - 2:00 amI just recently bought my Accord. This is my second Honda and I cannot think about buying any other kind. Mine is a 1998 with 72k miles but it runs wonderful. I have not had any problems with the car. It is so comfortable for long drives and is very fast for a 4 cyclinder. I am thoroughly impressed. The wind noise is more than I expected.

I Love my Accord - 2004 Honda Accord
By chi500 - June 20 - 2:00 amI love my Accord. It is fun to drive, quiet, and comfortable. I drive 60 miles a day on my commute to work and it is a dream. The standard stereo is great and I would recommend keeping the XM that you get for free for the first 3 months.

Most car for the money - 2010 Honda Accord
By resconroe - June 20 - 1:40 amDrove 09 Infiniti G37 Sedan and 10 Toyota Avalon Ltd. Eliminated Acura TL because of looks but bought 10 EX-L V6 w/NAV based on value and expected 5 year total cost to own. Runs fine on regular with enough power for me. Plenty of room for backseat passengers.

Car shuts off randomly while driving.... - 1993 Honda Accord
By K - June 19 - 10:19 pmI got this Honda from a Honda dealer and friend who sold it to me with no problems, it passed inspection and everything else with flying colors. I should also mention the engine had only 113,000 miles on it when I got it, this is considered "just breaking it in" for a Honda. I had the belts replaced, regular oil changes and tune-ups, this car was looked after, but keep reading...it all started when the car began to have a hard time maintaining a charge after it was started up, so we got it a new Battery, fine for a while...then, it shut off on the highway twice, Im glad I walked away from both. In addition to the stalling, it had problems in the winter too, but it gets worse....

Foreign Cars Better - 2002 Honda Accord
By gladiator007 - June 19 - 10:00 amI like this car even though I am a Toyota lover. However, one can not help but fall in love with the power, features and leather seating.

Brake noise - 2009 Honda Accord
By JJ - June 15 - 6:13 pmThere is considerable road noise, and there is a MAJOR problem with the brake noise (on both my 2008 sedan and 2009 coupe). Honda definitely needs to fix this. Dealership told me basically my driving was crappy and thats why the brakes were squealing. The Honda Accord is an economy car. If you want bells and whistles buy a Lexus, BMW, or Mercedes!

Fast Fun, and never lost - 2004 Honda Accord
By arcgangel31280 - June 15 - 10:00 amI have had the car for a little over 7 months. The car handles real well and accelerates like a demon. I had a 1999 Chrysler 300m before this car, and for the most part am glad I changed. Even though the Accord is 13hp less then the 300m it acccelerates faser and is much more refined. The Navigation system is a must have, but hasnt always steered me the best way. It doesnt always have the up-to-date info, and I have the newest disk.
