Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Disappointed - 1998 Honda Accord

This is my first Honda -- after owning a Nissan, Mazda and VW. I was expecting legendary reliability. Bought as a certified car with 40,000 miles on it. Now have 100,000. Not used to having things go wrong on the cars I own. Am probably spending in the neighborhood of $100 a month on repairs (seems like every 3-4 months it costs me about $300-$400). Probably wont buy a Honda again. My Nissans, Mazdas and VWs were much more reliable.

  • Theres cars and then theres Hondas - 1991 Honda Accord

I bought this car a little over two years ago. So far to me it would have been superb in reliability but i failed to change the timing belt when the car reached 85,000 miles and put a 1500$ dent in my pocket. Just remember if you own one of them to change the timing belt when needed! Other then that instance the car has been great and I love it. After a few add ons like Prelude Rims, a spoiler, and a brand new paint job, this car is mechanically in great shape and looks immmaculate and sleek. The car is just about to surpass 100K miles,I only put on 20K, and its to bad im going to have to sell it soon.

Owned 1999 Accord V6 sedan for 125,000 carefree miles. We sold it at full price to the first person to see it. Decided to try a 4 cylinder coupe and glad we did. Not a big difference with performance/ride(initially a concern) compared to V6 sedan and much more fun to drive. We were looking for value and feel that the premium for the upgraded models is not warranted for our needs. My wife drives a Lexus and has no complaints with this car. I will always drive a Honda, buy one and you will also.

  • One Great Car - 1992 Honda Accord

I bought mine in 1995 and its been nothing but awesome. Its made trips up and down the east coast with no problems. I like it so much that when I bought my new 02 Accord EX-V6 - I decided to keep my 92 LX. I have nothing but good experiences.

  • No regrets - 2007 Honda Accord

This is my first new new car and I love it. I went with the LX V6 because I dont care about leather seats and dual climate control and I couldnt be happier with my decision. Compared with the new Nissan coupe and the Solara, this car was far and away the best desicion.

  • 2010 EXL-V6 Sedan is stupid comfortable - 2010 Honda Accord

My 2010 EXL-V6 Sedan is stupid comfortable, and there is no road noise to speak of, just quiet and nice. The seats are firm and they offer great support, and are super comfortable on long trips. Depends on what you want! VCM is seamless. Great passing power but quite economical considering its 271hp and a big car. The V6 Accord doesnt scream like a Maxima but it has all the power a person needs. Add to that sporty handling/feel, room, comfort, elegance and a well equipped Accord cannot be beat. I tested top of the line Maxima, Camry and Avalon. Had any measured up I would have bought one, but they did not.

  • Good upgrade/update from a 15 year old accord - 2016 Honda Accord

With the new design in and out plus all the feature that is given on a base 16 accord with the history and reliability of Honda. There is nothing can go wrong on this car. With the deal that I got which is even sweeter story....

  • Great car, a pleasant surprise - 2003 Honda Accord

For a 4 cylinder sedan with an auto transmission I was amazed at how this thing goes. Its no supercar, but the acceleration is better than you would expect from a car like this. It also handles quite well for a car its weight. On the practical side, I have had no serious problems with this car. Nothing but standard maintainance and the passenger widow rattles a bit. Stereo is great.

  • What a waste of money!!! - 2006 Honda Accord

I hate this car. There is hardly any room in the car. I hate the big oversized knobs for the radio and the a/c. It eats gas like there is no tomorrow.
