Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Great Car!!! - 2003 Honda Accord
By Genorama - July 14 - 10:00 amThis car feels like a car that cost much more. Truck is more than adequate although a little smaller than the Altima or the Camary. I purchased the Accord over the Altima and the Camary because it rode as good as the Camary and had a more substantial interrior than the Altima. Also, we just went on our first rode trip and averaged over 30 MPG including some city driving! Still has plenty of power, found myself doing 80 without even realizing it. I am not longer jealous of my friends with Acuras and Infinitis and I spent about $10 grand less.

Best Accord Ever - 2008 Honda Accord
By Westies96 - July 14 - 12:23 amThis is the BEST! It is real comfortable, holds the road well, and has great pick up. I purchased a Polished Metal Metallic color with gray leather inside. Since Ive gotten it, I have been stopped by many people asking if it was the new Accord. Some say it looks like an Acura RL, others say that it looks like a BMW. Whatever it looks like I am happy that I purchased it. The feel of driving in the car is great. I look forward to driving trips to the grocery store. The car gives the ride of a much more expensive car. The interior is appointed very nicely.

Adequate - 1999 Honda Accord
By ssright - July 13 - 10:30 pmI love Honda. This car is my third Honda. This car is pretty sharp looking, but it fails in performance and reliability. I have the 4-cyl and it is pretty slow in 1st and 2nd gears, a little better after 2nd, but not much. Auto Transmission WILL go out before 125,000 miles, no question. Car currently has 120k on it right now and ive rebuilt the transmission and when that didnt work, put in a new one. Even the new Transmission shifts a little hard. Lastly, this may be an isolated incident, but my non-power seats have broken 3 times and wont lock into place, so the pass. just slides forward and backward while i drive. Over all nice car, Not as reliable as id hoped.

something new - 2003 Honda Accord
By mike fers - July 13 - 2:00 amnice car, roomy, fast, I just bought it few days ago, already have 600m, I use to dive a Camry, I like the fact that Honda is not a rental car deal. It is always you get what you pay for, this car is not expensive.

Lovin my "new" car! - 1994 Honda Accord
By 94accord_lover - July 12 - 4:38 pmThis is my first car, and im really enjoying it. My uncle was the previous owner, and he treated it like it was his own child. 11 years old and only 71K miles! He has had nothing but good to say about the car and so far neither do I. Never been in shop besides routine fluid and filter changes. The gas mileage has been rather good, averaging 31 mpg, but got 38 mpg (!!!!) on a 120 mile round trip. Love the handling. Everything feels so solid, like it will hold up for another 20 years. Design inside and out dont look like 11 year old design. Looks as modern as it did in 94. Great job, Honda!!

I like it. - 2010 Honda Accord
By get er done - July 12 - 5:20 amJust bought this car about a week ago and love driving it already. Have had a Honda in the past and after testing the market for others, couldnt resist coming back and Im glad I did. Of course, the more features the better, but I like the ride, comfort and space. Its just one of those cars that you cant be mad at.

great car, but getting old... - 1992 Honda Accord
By 92 Honda EX - July 11 - 5:56 pmI have really enjoyed owning this car. I have the 5spd and it has been very fun to drive. Despite not being a sports car, it has a sporty appearence with the 2drs, spoiler and sun roof. The car has however not been without problems. Since I bought it, I have had problems starting it in hot, humid weather. At 180,000 miles the oil pan seal wore and needed to be replaced, at 190,000 miles the head was found to be cracked and the car would not start. This is a very expensive problem to have fixed. Currently, it seems that the fuel pump is about to go. Despite the problems I have had, I would not hesitate to recommend the same car to someone else.

97 Accord very reliable - 1997 Honda Accord
By jh0212 - July 9 - 10:15 pmHave a 97 accord 4-dr EX w/ 184K miles now. Very reliable. Has lost a little juice and feels underpowered now compared to newer cars, but otherwise runs great. Only problems/complaints: (1) Warped rotors (replaced once, new set warped again), (2) paint is faded and splotchy now, (3) drivers side window slow to slide back up, esp on cold days, (4) A/C is not very strong, (5) mileage is so-so (about 24 mpg in mostly fwy driving, but I dont exactly obey the speed limit either). Not most exciting handling, but more responsive than Camry or some American cars Ive driven. Never get tired of my car. Would definitely buy another or recommend to someone.

Simply Awesome - 2003 Honda Accord
By skippy001 - July 8 - 10:00 amI previously owned a 2000 EX V6 4 Door Accord - was very happy with it. Quick, well handling, conservative styling, good value for the money. I now own the 03 EX V6 w/Navi 4 Door - WOW what an improvement. This car just keeps getting better and better - the 240 hp hauls! - and great MPG also. At 70 mph the trip computer was reading 32 mpg - thats more than the factory sticker states it should get. Trust me - go drive this car - you will buy it. The fit and finish along with the quality make this car the best buy on the planet.

Hot stuff - 2003 Honda Accord
By Tabbi - July 8 - 10:00 amJust bought a black on black and it is gorgeous! Very nice ride and avg about 24mpg with the V6. Good power and quite quick with the 5spd auto. Excellent build quality, the car is just tight. Great features and sound system. Nice climate control. Wonderful leather seats. Even had a valet guy tell me "I love these new Accords"! Traded in a 1999 Corvette that was falling apart at 48K miles.
