Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Very spacious car - 2007 Honda Accord
By Mathew - August 14 - 11:16 amThis is my fourth Honda vehicle. So, far very happy with the performance and features. This has more room in the back seat than most other midsized sedans.

Fun to drive but bumpy - 2003 Honda Accord
By Evunia - August 14 - 10:00 amEnjoyable, but the hard suspension makes for an uncomfortable drive. Every hole in the pavement will make you feel your stomach go up and down. Very inferior to a Camry in that aspect. Manual transmission is a doll, really smoth and makes for a fun drive. Overall nice but will consider something softer on the suspension for the next car.

Sold On It - 2000 Honda Accord
By Sold On It - August 12 - 2:44 pmThis car is solid. The engine is peppy, it handles great. The fit and finish is good and at 63,000 miles it drives like new. I only get 29mph (lead foot) wish I got more. CD Skips and there are a few rattles in sun visors. All minor. It drives so smooth and feels good. Outside is a bit conservative. The rear is nice, but the front is boaring. Wish it had a compartment for the garage door opener. I love my 5 speed. The front seat is not very confortable and the clutch pedal is too far away. Still love it.

Bullet Proof Engine! - 2000 Honda Accord
By AccordOwner - August 10 - 9:20 pmLittle things like the trunk release and gas door latch as well as the sun visors are well designed and have a sturdy feel to them. I drive this car like I hate it, and have over 51k miles on the engine without a hitch so far. Keep up with the sched maint and expect this car to last you a long time. The highway gas milage is great (~27mpg) even driving at 85mph, but if you enjoy the added power of VTEC around town expect about 17mpg.

i love my car - 2001 Honda Accord
By pk - August 10 - 7:08 pmI have had my V6 Accord since she was brand new. I drive a LOT - nearly 30,000 miles per year, and I havent yet had a problem with this car. Even after putting diesel in the gas tank (gas stations fault) she just keeps on keepin on. The service department at the dealership has always been courteous and helpful when I take her in for scheduled maintenence. I have nothing bad to say about my car.

Dont buy an Accord until Honda fixes em - 2008 Honda Accord
By Lori - August 10 - 12:20 pmThis is my third Honda Accord and while they finally made some improvements in the body styling, the car is worse than I ever could have imagined! First was a 4-cylinder sedan, second a V6 coupe and this one is a V6 coupe with the current styling. I still like the look of the car. But its noisy as all get out and the brakes are horrid. HORRID! At 20k we had to replace them although it was done under warranty save we paid for labor as the brake issue is now "common and known". My B- In-Law is a mechanic for a local dealership and said he has not seen an Accord NOT need the brakes changed @20k. Today noticed they are smoking. Whats next, fires? Then will Honda fix this issue?
