Overview & Reviews
Honda takes a bold leap for 2005 with the introduction of the Hybrid Accord. Rather than add a hybrid motor to its four-cylinder, Honda bolts its third-generation IMA system to the Accord's already-potent V6. In one fell swoop the Accord hybrid has become the class leader in fuel economy (30 city, 38 highway) and power (255 horsepower). Other changes for the 2005 Honda Accord this year include new wheel cover designs for the LX and EX trims, a new coin pocket design, illuminated steering wheel controls and improved rear styling in sedans with redesigned taillamps. In addition, front-seat side airbags and full-length head curtain airbags are now available on all trim levels all the way down to the base DX model.

Great Ride - 2005 Honda Accord
By Laura S McQuinn - March 20 - 7:23 amI love my Accord, it is comfortable and has the power I want. I felt safe on snowy roads, it is an easy driving car. I have a ittle problem with the feel of the brakes at times. I cant put my finger on it, maybe "spongy" is the best way to describe how they feel sometimes. I hope that this not a problem with the brakes. I am enjoying my Accord, both driving it and looking at it!

This is a awesome commuting car!!! - 2005 Honda Accord
By Point A to B, Great! - February 29 - 5:43 pmThis is a awesome commute car, The gas mileage is really good even though its a mid-size sedan. I was torn between the civic and the accord, but the miles per gallon isnt that much different. For few bucks more you can get a bigger, more powerful and just as economical car, the accord. I would recommend %100!!!

Wonderful car - 2005 Honda Accord
By Keith Lefevre - February 25 - 2:53 pmI test drove this car, plus the 05 Acura TL, and the 05 Honda Civic Hybrid. I immediately dropped the Civic because I wanted more performance, interior room, and luxury feel. The TL was great! I was close to getting it. What pushed me over the fence to get the Accord instead was its fuel economy. In the past 5,500 miles, Ive averaged 27 city, 39 hwy, and once I even got 48 MPG! I love this car and would recommend it to anybody. The suspension is smooth, yet sporty. The power is awesome. Handling is great. Very quiet ride. All controls are easily reached. Fit and finish are excellent. I even love the color! I would buy this car all over again if I had to.

Love My First Four-Door - 2005 Honda Accord
By BeornBear - February 19 - 12:46 pmI actually became interested in the car after seeing a friends Acura TL. I was very impressed with the voice activated navigation and integrated XM stereo. I did some research and realized that I could have 9/10 of that car in a much lower priced package with the Accord V-6. Ive been extremely impressed with the interior quality and abundant features. This car has plenty of power and decent handling. I think my cars looks have been enhanced simply by adding a rear lip spoiler and fog lights. Judging by my short time with the car so far, Id buy another in a heartbeat. Pretty good dealership experience as well.

Just Smilin - 2005 Honda Accord
By Top Notch - February 4 - 5:26 amSprung for an LX 4cyl auto today. Drove everything in the segment - just a fine car and am enjoying the hell out of my decision. Great stuff. BTW, anyone in Denver looking for the best dealership around, hit Ralph Schomp in Littleton. No BS, even gave $700 over book for the trade. Will have the car for years, and know Ill be happy with it.

05 Accord V6 - 2005 Honda Accord
By Tom - January 30 - 6:53 amBought this vehicle to take a six week trip across the country. Went in the middle of August and returned the end of September. This vehicle was so comfortable we never were tired even after logging 900 miles in one day. Also, the V6 performed admirably and we averaged just over 30 mpg for the entire trip of 9,000 miles. At one point in South Dakota while using the cruise control (@75mph) we averaged 34 mpg. This is a beautiful car in every aspect and really fun to drive.

Love Accords - 2005 Honda Accord
By EL - January 15 - 12:36 pmWe have bought three Accords, and this one is the best. We have a 96, 01, and now an 05. This one has by far the smoothest ride, it is the most comfortable, the most solid, the quietest, and the quickest. It also has more power, and gets better gas mileage than the 01 which is the same trim level.

Mine is a 2003 LX V-6 Coupe - 2005 Honda Accord
By Rick - January 7 - 10:53 pmIve had my 2003 LX-V6 coupe for 1-1/2 years now and I like it as much as I did the day I drove it off the lot. It has power to burn (it will top 100 just going up the on ramp to the freeway) so merging with traffic and passing is a breeze. At the same time I get better than the EPA mileage estimate, 24 (me) vs. 21 (EPA) city and 32 vs. 30 highway. Handling is reasonable if not spectacular. Ive done effortless 12 hour days driving from Colorado to Montana. And feature for feature, the price was the best of any make. Nobody else offered a V6 in this class for even close to the price I paid.
