Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Never Again - 2001 Honda Accord
By dhbl - October 12 - 11:43 pmI thought that this would be a reliable car that gets good gas mileage. All I can say is never again will I buy a Honda. I have had transmission problems, some covered by warranty others not. The fuel economy is not great, 22mpg. I can get better mileage from my other larger sedan that I own. Basicaly it has been very disapointing

The "find" of the year! - 1996 Honda Accord
By #4sGirl - October 12 - 5:14 pmI bought this car with 32k miles on it from a man whose late wife quite literally only drove it to church, the grocery store and Wal-Mart. Its in fabulous condition for being 9 years old. The only trouble Ive had from it are some occasional noises Im not used to - Ive never had a 4c before. Im loving the low-mileage (I sold my 99 Pathfinder w/ 93k mi to get this car) and the high gas mileage... I plan to drive it for many years to come.

Brake problems anyone...? - 2001 Honda Accord
By bigfoot - October 12 - 3:59 pmBought this car new in 2001 and have 117K miles on it. Overall have been very happy with performance and reliability. Only scheduled maintenance (110K is a killer - $900) and replacement of window motor, but expected that based on previous Honda experience. However, this vehicle has recurring problems with rotor warping/brake vibration and I was wonering of other owners have had similar experiences. Have had it back to Honda several times for in warranty and out of warranty fixes, but problem persists. Would like to know if this is a recurring theme as I am considering the purchase of an 05 Accord.

I LOVE my Honda - 2005 Honda Accord
By Sonia - October 11 - 1:43 pmIve made three payments on this car and its the first time in my life that I dont mind writing out a check! The UMF suprises me--sometimes it seems like my car just wants to get up and go (lots of power for a 4 cyl.). Its very stylish and it looks like I paid alot for this car but I didnt. I was blessed to pay $19,990 for this car + TTL. Very affordable. Unfortunately some dummy in a 1980 Toyota rear-ended me last month (ouch!) but my bumper did what it was supposed to do and my car is back to the war it looked-- beautiful! I recommend this car to anyone who enjoys driving a sedan.

Pretty decent llittle car. - 2008 Honda Accord
By Mujhunter - October 10 - 11:43 pmI have had the car for nearly six months now and overall I am pretty satisfied with my purchase. The two door coupe is very comfortable and roomy and draws plenty of attention. The seats are decent, the interior design is excellent IMO as well as the exterior design, and thus far it has been extremely reliable. The build quality could be a tad bit better (less wind noise), but its not horrible. I looked at a ton of cars before this purchase many of which were entry level luxury sedans costing 5-10k dollars more and could not justify buying any of them over the accord. You get a lot of car loaded with options for the money. I paid 26k for mine before tt&l.

Good car so far - 2008 Honda Accord
By sydney - October 10 - 2:26 pmOverall very good car so far. Had it for a few days and no complaints. I had qualms about the exterior but its growing on me. I was thinking about getting the 2009 acura tsx but opted for the 08 accord because it was more roomier, family friendly, used regular fuel, and cost several thousand less. Biggest plus I think is the roominess of the interior and the trunk. Fits a full sized stroller with plenty of room left.

Honda Accord Scores - 2008 Honda Accord
By Larry S. - October 10 - 12:13 pmThe 2008 Accord EX-L V6 is refined styling both inside and out. The first thing I noticed is the firm leather seats and busy dashboard. I managed to program in some XM stations on the ride home from the dealership. Pick up is great from stop or merging on the highway at 60 mph. Navigation is not intuitive but does accept voice prompts. I have had to spend some time reading through the navigation owners manual to help get a handle on it. To my great surprise the automatic mileage calculator has me at 24 mpg in town. The Accord has a very european feel on the inside which reminds me of the BMW 3 series. Extra perks such as tire pressure monitoring and heated seats are great.

2003 Accord EX Sedan, 5 Speed - 2003 Honda Accord
By Officer_ndogg - October 8 - 10:00 amThe best car I have ever owned. Build quality is unmatched. You feel like your driving a car that costs $30K but mine stickered for only $22K. Interior design and features are top notch, and I like the sporty exterior look. The 4-Cyl 5-Speed work very well together and there is plenty of power for most anyones needs (and no one minds 30+ mpg). The ride is supple and smooth and it handles much better than previous models. There is plenty of room inside and out and the back seat has more leg room than my dads Crown Vic. All of this with Hondas reputation for quality and reliability. Overall one of the best cars on the road for the money.
