Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

I looked into purchasing a used car for over a year. After owning several Toyota Camrys I wanted something with equal build quality and reliability, but with a drivers design. This accord delivers! I love driving it and everyone else who drives it is amazed. This is truely an amazing vehicle.

  • A Blast to Drive, But Will It Start? - 2007 Honda Accord

Have had this car for a month now and have found it to be a blast to drive, very powerful and smartly designed interior. Last week in 85 deg heat, car wouldnt start--would turn over, but not catch. Dealer replaced fuel pump sensor module and said that should fix problem, but will it? Prob has not recurred, but only time will tell. Like the fact that it goes over 100K between tuneups, 7500 between oil changes, depending on the conditions you drive in. Beautiful paint job-- got a lot of complements on this car. Car could be better on gas, mileage average--have to use premium or mid range per the dealership.

I have had this car for a while and Ive have not had no problems with it. I just cancelled my extended service contract cashing in on it because of the reliabity my Accord has! I fill safe and I also have a piece of mind knowing that Im driving a awesome car. I purchased my Honda in Mexico City under the a certification program which is similar to the USA program but would not cover me on a brake down in the USA, thats odd. The only problem I really had was the maintaince light comes on but I just reset that puppy I think it had something to do when I brought it from Mexico City and US customs made me change the odometer from Kilos to miles, that was a bummer!!!!

  • Just a great car... - 2000 Honda Accord

Ive had this car for a year now and I have no complaints what so ever. I bought it last year from Carmax, a fine establishment, and the funny thing is I didnt intend to buy anything at all. I saw the car in the inspection garage on a tour of the facillity and I had to check it out. I test drove another accord that was a 4-banger and it just didnt have enough for me, so when I saw this V-6 model, I decided to give it a whirl. It had enough power (200hp) and it was a better looking car then the 4-cylinder version. I knew that I was picking up a quality car from this place, so I didnt have any hesitation buying it. Im glad it all worked out.

The 4 cyl. coupe is fun to drive, steers exactly where you aim it. The engine has very good pick up, especially from a start, and outstanding passing power from 30 mph up, gets 25 mpg. But the suspension is stiff, the car does not sway in tight turns, but you feel every bump. The interior is really noisy unless the road surface is smooth. The drivers seat is nice but restrictive, holds you in one place. The tilt steering lock is stiff and hard to set, sometimes it takes two hands to lock it in place. The radio sounds great, the air conditioning is excellent and the brakes are really positive. Overall a really nice car.

  • Own it, Love it - 2005 Honda Accord

Owned a 2000 Accord and was so pleased with it that I purchased a 2004. I like the exterior design much better and the interior is much nicer as well. Nothing compares to the reliability of the Accord as well as the fit and finish. The car handles very well and the road visibility is superior to all others I test drove. I highly recommend this vehicle if you are looking for a sporty reliable vehicle that is roomy enough to double as the every day family car as well.

Excellent vehicle for the price no returns to dealer for repairs after 1 year of ownership. Highly recommended for a midsize sedan. Too many buttons which are clustered together and distracting for the driver to use. Excellent performance from the 4cyl. version no need for the larger V-6. As expected Honda continues to improve there product instead of changes for the sake of change. Over all I highly recommend the Accord for value and retention of resale value.

  • Honda Accord EX Sedan - 2010 Honda Accord

190 HP engine is smooth and powerful. Car really handles well on country roads and highway. Replaced a 2009 Ford Fusion with the Honda Accord EX, Ford Fusion had more bells and whistles but Honda is a more solid car. Also own a 2002 Honda Odyssey van, cant beat Honda for reliability and overall quality. Went back and forth between 2010 Fusion and Accord before choosing the Honda. Tough decision, both are good cars.

  • Solid Car - 1991 Honda Accord

Bought the car from a private owner almost a year ago. Replaced radiator, axle seal, oil seal and A/C spending a lot more than what I wanted to on a nearly 15 year old car. But I could have spent the purchase price plus the price of repairs on a newer car and still not have as good a used vehicle as this one. Very solid car in and out for its age.

I moved out of my loaded 2008 BMW 535 into a 2016 Accord EX-L V6 and dont feel like I am missing out. While I could easily buy any luxury vehicle the new Accord sold me on its near luxury at half the price. I have to be careful as I risk feeling smugly superior, something I never did in the beemer. So compared to the 535 the Accord.. Has 22 less horsepower, naturally aspirated...dont miss it and dont miss the 535 turbos. Tracks half as well but that makes is 100% more comfortable. Has 8-way (?) adjustable seats vs 20-way in the 535 so you dont get hugged on tight cornering which was a little disconcerting the first couple of times but the Accord seats are more comfortable. Has more and better cup holders. Darn close leather, Honda finally got it right. The break pedal doesnt sit level with the gas, takes some getting used (hooked a shoe sole in the process) to but is normal for a family hauler. Has awesome technology with CarPlay and Auto but not fair to compare. Really does get 34 mpg on the freeway...when does stated mileage actually happen? Great headlights, night quite as surreal as the 535 but pretty awesome. I could go on but net, net the first 1000 miles hav kept me smiling.
