Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Fun to Drive - 2009 Honda Accord
By nana - October 26 - 1:20 amGenerally the car has been great except for excessive dust that comes into the passenger cabin. I have an 03 lx which is great even after 150k still like new inside. Find excessive road noise for a top of the line model. Better sound proofing would reduce fatigue.

1997 Accord EX pleasure - 1997 Honda Accord
By Susie - October 25 - 10:00 amThis 1997 was our 5th Honda and it has excelled in performance as have all the others. I prefer the std. to the aut.; not because of the 4 cyl. eng., but because the Accord is such a driving pleasure. It gives you all the power you need and I never worry about it hesitating or holding back. We are anxiously awaiting the 2003 to see what they are like. You can NEVER go wrong with a Honda.

luv my Honda Wagon EX - 1994 Honda Accord
By paulh - October 25 - 10:00 amAfter my last repair on our 97 Sable I decided to sell it and get a Honda. My wife has had great reliability on her 98 civic but I found the civic to small for me. I wanted a wagon and a Honda so I bought used a one owner EX wgn w/ 60K miles. My first fuel check showed 29.3 mpg in town ! It is fun to drive, easy to park and the cargo space with the seats down is very large (63 cu ft). Im glad I bought this car, I enjoy the CD/tape system as well as the moon roof. This car is a "keeper" as I intend to keep it on the road as long as as I can.

What a relief - 2007 Honda Accord
By Discriminating Owner - October 25 - 9:03 amI researched every car trying to decided what to replace an 04 Pacifica with. For the money, there is no other car with this level of refinement, performance, handling and price. The V6 is absolutely unnecessary, as the 4 cyl engine is smooth and powerful, AND efficient for this nimble, well balanced auto.

Honda Accord, Poor choice - 2007 Honda Accord
By R. Allen - October 25 - 7:03 amRide is uncomfortable. Dangerously pulls to the right, either not aligned properly or there is a manufacturing defect, gas mileage is less than I got on a Buick LeSabre. Very disappointed in this car. Would not recommend it to anyone.

Rattle Box with Poor Mileage - 2008 Honda Accord
By Glenn - October 22 - 9:33 pmI bought this car for two reasons: 1) Ive owned four Hondas previously and all were great. 2) This car looks sharp. This car rattles on the dash, passenger side, and rear deck. I brought this back to the dealer twice, but they couldnt help me. Honda of America is a big letdown on this one. I had to drive around with the glove box open to stop the squeaking since it was sitting in wrong. After the dealer couldnt fix things, I decided to fix it myself by breaking the weld on the latch, moving it then re-welding it myself. Glove box no longer squeaks but it masked about three or four other rattles from various locations. Time for me to call it quits and get a better car.

Best car Ive ever owned - 2000 Honda Accord
By Laura - October 22 - 7:46 pmI love my 2000 Accord because its so reliable and fun to drive. Although it lowers the fuel economy, I love the speed of the V6 and feel its well worth it. Ive owned it for over 2 years and never had a single problem with it (quite the opposite of past cars Ive owned). The inside is very spacious and great for long road trips. If you take care of these cars, they will take care of you for a long time!

A Nice Drive - 2003 Honda Accord
By DreArf - October 22 - 6:36 pmFirst vehicle I have ever owned and it was new when I bought it. I have had so much fun driving it. Power is quite pleasant, but I do notice a slight hesistation before it kicks in when I accelerate hard. I have fine tuned it some by adding chrome rims, AEM cold air intake valve, AERO turbine performance mufflers, and special paint striping. Im 54 and the visibility is okay, but if youre short you need to just get use to visually compensating when parking and driving in tight spaces. The design a lot of people seem to complain, but of course, if you own one it grows on you. The car has been a surprise to drive and I hope someone can enjoy this model as much as I have.
