Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • 2017 ACCORD V6 COUPE EXL - 2017 Honda Accord

Excellent value in my opinion. Honda Reliability, style, price all worth the money. I have owned two Hondas and one Acura and I couldnt be happier with my new purchase. I think if your honest with yourself what youre getting for between 25-32K is worth it. Im sure if you need all the bells and whistles youre probably considering luxury with the luxury price tag and maintinence cost. Im practical and drive 100miles per day so with that being said I went with coupe V6 because its usually just me back and fourth to work. I chose V6 over CVT because I like the extra power and dont care for the ticking in the CVT. That being said the coupe is a dieing breed and since this was Hondas last year for the coupe and 6 cylinder, I let go of the 2002 Honda Accod at 250k miles and upgraded. The two screens is a little much, but I love the seat warmers, memory setting, Bluetooth, and a decent sound system. I live in the Bay Area, so mild wheather conditions, but crappy roads, but front wheel drive is sufficient. Gas mileage could be better but at 25mpg, Ill get over it. I wish Honda would stand by their product and offer a better warranty (30k or 3 years) is shameful. Ive owned for 6 months and am happy with my purchase.

It was love at first sight! I just couldnt resist the timeless, elegant styling plus, everyones knows the repretation a Honda Accord has. I knew I spotted a winner and had to get this car before someone else did. This is my second Honda and both I bought used. My 1987 Civic served me well for 14 years,(1990-2004) however I wanted to move up to an Accord. I remember the test drive like it was yesterday. The ride was tight and smooth like a brand new car and the interior looked new clean and in excellent condition. I could tell who ever owned this car kept it in great shape. I wasnt concerned about buying a used Honda 10 model years old because I know Hondas are built to last!

  • New LX CVT purchase - first impression review - 2013 Honda Accord

Previous car 2000 Accord LX. The value is huge with the features, for the money it was tough to beat. Great deal too, I purchased on 12/31/12 at invoice plus a $500 credit for using Honda Finance. My only frustration is that my 2000 6 speaker stereo sounded better than the 4 speaker unit in the 2013. Also the center console is smaller and does not have the upper tray, just less storage overall. The dash layout is fantastic, the climate controls are minimal in the space it occupies, and the i-Mid control in the LX is much easier to use compared to the dual screen arrangement in the EX-L and above.

This car is so comfortable it is hard not to fall asleep in the seats. The mileage is just as good as it was on my 4 cylinder car. I would definately buy another Accord.

  • Best Car Ever!! - 1995 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought my Accord new in 95 got the DX to save money. I am getting ready to sell it because I want automatic with power stuff. I have 270,000 miles on it and it still runs great and gets 32mpg, and still rides like new!!! It still has the orig clutch, trans, engine, everything. We maintained it as recommended by the dealer. There was a recall about 3 or 4 years ago on some seal in the engine which caused us to need a new timing belt when they replaced the seal, but Honda paid. I wish I had bought the automatic in 95--then I would just keep it!!

  • Run Forever - 1997 Honda Accord

Bought this car used with 62,000 miles on it and currently has 107,500 and have changed the timing belt and should be good to go for another 100,000 miles. Never had a probelem with this car.

  • 15 years and still going strong - 1990 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought my Accord new in 1990. The only major problem that I had was my own fault - the timing belt broke because I did not follow the scheduled maintenance. Unfortunately, it cost about $1600 to fix, but thats the only significant problem that the car has ever had. Its protected my wife in two fairly serious accidents, even without airbags. Its been all over the US and treated us great! Every time we think about selling it, we just cant come up with a compelling reason - maybe it will just last forever!

  • Good car - Transmission Trouble - 1998 Honda Accord
    By -

I have owned this car for 7 years. It is the second Accord I have owned, I also have a 1994. Overall this is a very good car. It was the first model year that the Honda increased the size of the vehicle. The car has been trouble free except for the transmission. At 75000 miles it started to slip between first and second gear. The dealer wanted over $4000 to fix it. My wife called Honda customer service and firmly complained. They extended the warranty on the later years. After just one call Honda covered the transmission cost. My cost $200. I was pleasantly surprised after 7 yrs they fixed it for $200.

  • Very Reliable Vehicle! - 1991 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought this car with 111k miles it now has 245k + and still running strong with no repairs except for a timing belt and plugs at 220k miles. This car gets a steady 32mpg and is great to drive!
