Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

I love this car. - 2001 Honda Accord
By Austin - November 28 - 1:58 pmI have had my Honda Accord for a little over 4 years now. I bought it brand new and have had no problems with it at all. I currently has almost 100k miles on it. In my opinion, Hondas are the most reliable vehicles on the road today. The 4-cylinder Accord could use more power, but with the 4-cylinder you get great gas mileage. Great vehicle!

Could be better - 2001 Honda Accord
By areiaman - November 28 - 10:00 amMine is a 4 cyl/ automatic transmission. Had to replace the brake system power booster 2 wks after purchase (almost rear ended another vehicle). Now the car has developed a chugging noise in the front end and nobody is able to troubleshoot it. Sheet metal is paper thin, paint chips very easily. The engine has enough power, but you really have to punch the gas. LOTS of tire and wind noise and whinny transmission. Overall, a slightly less than average ownership experience and definitely not what I expected from a manufacturer with such reputation for quality and reliability.

Great buy - 2005 Honda Accord
By Gatlin - November 26 - 12:10 amI have owned many Hondas over the years. I still can find a vehicle that beats them for the price. Fit and finish inside and out beats all the competition. Switching from a 2000 Trans Am to an Accord, I thought would be a hard change. But I donÂ’t miss the rattles and road sounds I used to get out of the Pontiac. Going from a 305hp engine to a 160hp was not bad at all. The Accord it quick and gets out of its own way. Just a note it is a lot easier to get my two year old in car seat in the Honda. But when I bought the Pontiac I was in a different situation.

Accord is one solid car - 2010 Honda Accord
By thockman - November 25 - 11:53 amAfter driving my new Accord for two weeks, Im still impressed with the solid feel of the car. I can tell that this car is well built and will last many years before starting to creak, rattle, and ding like all aging cars do. The 190 hp engine is more than sufficient most of the time, stereo sounds great and road noise is not problem. The EX has all the Must Have conveniences, but I do miss have an outside temperature indicator. The drivers seat is not comfortable in the lumbar area, but I am continuing to test lumbar settings for perfect fit. I highly recommend this car.

So easy to drive - 2000 Honda Accord
By howardc64 - November 25 - 7:00 amThis car is so easy to drive. You feel like it is driving itself. You feel firm and in control with the car interpreting every steering input precisely. Reliability is as advertised. In 5 years of ownership, I have had 1 failure (light for the clock, $3 part and trivial to replace)

Love my new Accord! - 2008 Honda Accord
By New Honda Owner! - November 24 - 4:33 amI am a long time GM car buyer and last night I purchased my first new Honda (Accord EX-L 4 cyl) and I am just blown away with the quality. So far the car has over exceeded my expectations in every way. I was afraid I would miss my Grand Prix but that is not the case. The 190 HP 4 Cyl is plenty powerful. Very pleased with the new Accord! Way to go Honda!

Honda Accord EX-L - 2008 Honda Accord
By Steve - November 22 - 12:16 pmExcellent car for this class vehicle. I considered Altima and Camry and have no regrets. Roomy, handles very well, good acceleration for a 4 cylinder automatic. Not a single problem with it yet, and dont expect to have many either. While the mileage is not bad it good be better, but as the acceleration is good for a 4 cylinder its a trade-off. I am sure as gas prices go up cars will be built to get better mileage at the expense of acceleration. This wont be so bad once people trade in their SUVs and start driving less aggressively. Would recommend this car.
