Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

I just bought this car and have had it for almost a week. I loved it from the first time I test drove it. This car has everything from interior comfort to a sleek exterior design. I LOVE driving this car.

  • Very Hard To Get - But Worth It! - 2010 Honda Accord

Finding a 6mt coupe was more difficult than finding Bigfoot. Had to order this car as there were simply none on dealership lots in a 5 state radius. Luckily car was already being built for another dealership, so they traded cars with my dealership, therefore only had to wait 3 weeks for the car to be built. Honda is slowly eliminating manual transmission cars from the US market, so if you want one of these get it while you still can. As frustrating as it was to buy, the end result is a car that is beautiful to look at, comfortable, and lots of fun to drive. Goes like stink (powerful engine), transmission is a joy to shift and the clutch has a natural, progressive take up. Car is a keeper!

  • Wheres the MPG? - 2009 Honda Accord

My second Accord. The reliability and resale value are unbeatable. The ride is firm, but it has a sporty feel to it. The seats are quite comfortable. I love the sound system that adjusts its volume to the speed of the car. The center of the dash is very cluttered. Driven the car 5000+ miles and still have to take my eyes off the road just to tune the radio. Too many buttons. The MPG is a major disappointment. Bought the 4 cylinder hoping for the advertised 30 MPG. Not even close. 26 is the best Ive ever achieved; after 2 straight hours of interstate driving. Usually 22-24, with a low of 21 MPG. Sad for a 4 cylinder.

I thought overall this car had what it took to be a contender. Ive driven other coupes and realized that my heart is still with honda products. Its quick, sleak, and on top of it all fun to drive.

  • 73k & still running like new - 2000 Honda Accord

I have put 42k miles on car and only replaced tires & brakes recently. Solid, sound, refined car. I have had to do nothing with. Drive it, change oil every 3500 miles, no major disappointments. Could have better leather upholstery, driver side shows above average wear. Decent sound system, sunroof "squeaks" randomly when closed, slightly oversteers (heavy car) but ABS and "smart" transmission controls car well when braking or turning/going downhill. Metallica paint is average, just keep it waxed. Interior is very nice, well appointed controls and feel, quiet ride and it looks great. Will easily put 150k miles on this car.

I bought our accord about 3 month age after our 2005 honda oddssey was rear ended and totaled we got the accord tor replace the above vech. we have approx 6500 miles on it and love it. it not only gets more mpg around town then on the hwy at its best with the odd. we have been going between modsto ca. and martinez ca. approx. 160-180 roundtrip and getting no less then 33 mpg and up to 36 it not only is very quiet and smooth but we love the cameras it make getting over to the right very nice(I wish they had it on the left also) we just love the carwe paid over 24000 .and I have read where people have had prob. we have not and we are going down south this weekend and look for to the drive.

Just over 5000 miles and so far my Accord has been great without any rattles or issues. My average city mileage is 26 mpg, only been on one road trip and got 35 mpg. I expect both of those to climb a little with more miles. First oil change at 5000 with 30% left on maintenance minder. I will follow maintenance minder from now on and should get about 7000 between changes. Came from a Passat V6 manual 5spd and I am impressed with the 4 cylinder power. The Honda I-4 feels about like my VW did. Only minor complaint is the brakes. The initial bite is abrupt and they donÂ’t have the stopping power of the Passat. The brake feel was much better on the VW too.

  • What a great car - 2000 Honda Accord

This is our third Honda and we will probably never buy another make of vehicle. The 2000 Accord is a great car. As with all of our hondas we simply follow the manufacturers maintenance schedule and have never had to do any major repairs. Its a great car to drive, very comfortable. It handles great in bad weather(provided you have good tires). I would definately recommend this car to anyone.

  • Eh, its ok. - 2004 Honda Accord

Driverside room: Head is too close to the roof; the steering wheel has to be pointed toward face to allow leg room. The 4-Cylinder: On the highway - engine makes a lot of noice to get up to speed. The Voice Activation Navi-System disappointing. Has to be fairly quiet to hear voice commands. Highway noice disrupts it. The air conditioning turned on several times b/c of this (its winter) If its raining... Not totally voice activated; requires manual input. Dont like the Navis newer display. Its harder to see. The silver molding around the windows - Yuk Gas milage: not as good as I thought it would be. Advertised 30-38 city/hwy.
