Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

A Real Dream Car - 2016 Honda Accord
By sheila most - January 28 - 7:12 pmI am a Honda-for-life person. I was in a T-bone collision with an SUV about a month ago as the driver of my 2008 Honda Accord sedan. The airbags deployed properly, and neither I nor any of my three passengers was seriously injured. That put the lynch pin in my decision to replace that car with the same make and model. The 2016 model is a real joy to drive. It is so quiet that I sometimes think I must have turned off the engine. My only suggestion for improvement is that the dealership should offer an hour course in setting and operating the multitude of electronics in the car. Seriously! My Honda dealer will help me with this problem, but there should be an actual class. In summary, the 2016 Honda Accord Sedan is a wonderful car!

Old Faithful - 1999 Honda Accord
By chellie88 - January 28 - 3:25 pmThis car was my first new car purchase and after six years I am still pleased. I have been grateful as I look back and realize I never spent over $500 for any repairs. There is scheduled maintenance to keep up with but I didnt do all of them and am still blessed with a good performing vehicle.

Impressive Coupe - 2006 Honda Accord
By Pinoy - January 27 - 4:43 pmWhat a bargain for such a nice coupe with impressive list of safety features. 166 hp is plenty enough to tackle urban jungle with great ride, handling and comfort. A peace of mind for years to come considering great fuel economy, safety and reliability. Less trip for repair or to the gas pump - ah! heaven.

A believer - 2006 Honda Accord
By hayje - January 27 - 3:10 pmPower , power, and more power BUT, at a reasonable MPG. Ive gotten as high as 42.4 mpg on long trips and 28 in the city,Ive even had it up to 120 mph several times and nothng fell off. Even a state tropper who tried to catch me and did only when I slowed down to the speed limit, couldnt believe it was a hybrid I didnt get a ticket! When I left him he was still shaking his head and laughing to himself

Honda engineers read this!!! - 2009 Honda Accord
By martian - January 27 - 7:26 amI LOVE my new car! Ive put 5k miles on the Accord. Traction control prevents burning rubber, but whatever. What is fun is going from 40 to 80 in like 2 seconds. Dont worry about the "click" when shifting into DRIVE; they all do it. When snow gets in the wheels, they vibrate at > 50 mph. Windshield wash fluid only holds <1/2 gallon - and the pump is wussy. The drivers seat is not comfortable. I have some suggestions in the section below. Sound system rocks. Visibility is fantastic.

Still the champ - 2005 Honda Accord
By Rocco - January 27 - 12:06 amAfter driving GM, Ford and Chrysler competitor cars plus Toyota Camry and Solara and Nissan Altima, Honda beat them all on total performance and predicted reliability. The Accord isnt much for looks, but it drives like a dream, accelerates great and is well put together. Best car for the money on the market.

Perfect...but - 2006 Honda Accord
By Kaio - January 25 - 6:20 amI have owned the car for 15 months and I love it. However, there are some things that are just poorly thought out. 1> Map lights - these are unusable. The moment my wife turns them on, I can barely see anything on the road. 2> Tires - Within a week of buying the car, the inner wall on one tire cracked. Dealer refused to fix (Herb Chambers). Went to Sears and got free replacement. For a family car like this, a V speed rated $200 tire is an overkill.

Best car for your money - 2003 Honda Accord
By Acemtg - January 25 - 2:00 amI just bought this car 2 months ago and I love it. I was looking at the IS300, Maxima, and 325CI. I began to realize that I could get a brand new accord with more HP and features than any of these cars used. This car is great in any comparison. Resale value is great, reliability is great, and price is perfect.
