Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

By Cardell - February 1 - 2:00 amI am 69 years old and have owned many different makes and mods of automobiles/pickups/SUVs in my life. Top of the line usually. I just bought a new Honda Accord EX and must say I have never owned a better car. I Love it.My gal pal does too. Thanks Honda.

Great used car! - 1992 Honda Accord
By Clancy - February 1 - 1:59 amI bought my Honda from a private party recently. Though it has 140K on the engine, the car runs perfectly and handles like a newer car. The ride is smooth and quiet and the gas mileage (25 mpg city) is more than acceptable. Based on other postings and things Ive read this car should past 200,000 miles as long as the routine maintenence is done. What more does one need? From now on its Honda (or maybe Subaru) only!

Reliability is what its all about - 1991 Honda Accord
By Alan - January 31 - 9:59 pmReliability in a car is most important to me. Presently the car has 293k and still retains a good bit of the original parts. Other than the usual tires, brakes, exhaust replacements and timing belt every 90k Ive had few problems. Yes, the ignitor failed at 115k but the dealer covered it under recall in 96. Try to get Ford or Chevy to do that! The distributor bearing went at 157k, the alternator lasted 240k and I finally had to do the axles. A few problems have cropped up recently but geez, most other cars wouldnt have even made it this far! So what if I use a quart of oil every 750 miles.Oil is cheap! 12 years,20 below or 100 above, it has started 8758 out of 8760 tries. Thats reliable!

Jury Still Out - 2009 Honda Accord
By David - January 31 - 10:30 amAfter many years a Toyota owner I cut the cord and went with this top of the line Honda because of the new design and increase in rear space. Clients feel comfortable and many compliments on style of car. I hope after purchasing it for an extended period of time I learn to enjoy it more. Been very unhappy with brakes. Inside comfort has been less than desirable especially for longer drive periods and I feel less spacious than I thought when I test drove it. The side pockets, center console and under radio compartment (which is very hard to get to) provides for not much space. When carrying a cell phone on your hip, the seat belt snap is in a bad location. But little space left to store it.

My Accord - 2002 Honda Accord
By AFB - January 29 - 2:00 amI have had my Honda for 5 months now and its been great except for 1 major issue. My gas milage. 90 percent of my driving is strictly highway and I have not gotten over 19.5 mpg. I even filled up on the highway and topped it off when i got off. I got 20.4 mpg. I have had it back to the dealer and was told nothing was wrong that the car has to break in. Ive got 6000 miles and it should be broken in. Why then is the car advertised at 22 - 28 mpg
