Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Accord LX - 1992 Honda Accord
By butterfly - February 7 - 2:14 amI have had this Accord since it had 28480 miles on it. It has now 203,700 miles. It has had master cylinder replaced, radiator, power window electronics, and main relay. It currently needs paint it looks terrible!!! It has a small power steering leak and it must have an oil pan gasket leak as it is always wet when I change the oil. Honda so called fixed the PS leak but it reoccured 1 year later and they refused to repair under warranty. That dealership has had a lot of problems over the years. A lot of personnel changes. Honda refuses to acknowledge its defects and Im skeptical about buying another Honda. Im not thrilled with the other offerings out there either. Its been a good car overall.

flawed design, unsafe, low quality - 2003 Honda Accord
By jinrui - February 6 - 9:53 pmSince buying this car, I have experienced many problems. First, the LCD screen suddenly became dark for no reason in 2004. The dealer said this is a design defect and replaced it after one month. In 2005, during a regular maintenance in a dealer, we were told the car was leaking transmission oil. Last November, we went to Chicago at noon and parked on a street (a lot of traffic at the time). Coming back in half an hour, we found someone had sneaked into the car and stole all our expensive items. No prizing signs on the doors. Sure, we locked the car before we left. It seems the Honda anti-thief alarm system malfunctioned.

Honda Accord - 2003 Honda Accord
By Dick Mosbach - February 3 - 5:26 amworst interior finish I have ever seen in an automobile. Doors did not fit, rattles, generally poor fit and finsih. Not what I would have expected in a $27,000 car.

Made a Mistake - 2006 Honda Accord
By Windy - February 1 - 1:20 pmI have only had this car two months and knew the first day I had made a mistake. It is very uncomfortable, hard to get in and out, and rides very rough. We are already looking for a larger car to replace it with. The Accord is a small car and should not be referred to as a family sedan. It is more suited for teenagers and young adults who arent interested in comfort.

The best car I have ever owned. - 2003 Honda Accord
By John D. Serra - February 1 - 2:00 amThis car drives and handles like a dream. The quality and power are excellent. I will never buy a nother american made car again. Me and my girl friend flip a coin to see who gets to take it to work. I may just have to move out and then I get it all to myself.

My fix for mid-life crisis - 2003 Honda Accord
By Chris in Desert - February 1 - 2:00 amThis is a nice ride. Just crossed over 350 miles and still have almost 1/4 tank left. Bought this over a Passat; just thought about repairs in five years. Noticed some sort of rotten egg smell after turning off motor, but that has subsided. Has a small rattle; fit is pretty good, not perfect though. Rides a bit rough on a bumpy road. It is more of a drivers car than my Ford Explorer!!

Better than anticipated! - 2003 Honda Accord
By williamtwo - February 1 - 2:00 amLots of power, but handling a little spongy compared to VW GTI VR6. Very quiet ride and comfortable seats. Great a/c & heating. Body style is modern and up to date.

Great Car! - 2000 Honda Accord
By lilmamaof2 - February 1 - 2:00 amI love this car! I have had absolutely no trouble with it. I have driven to California and up to the mountains and have had no trouble making the hills. It is a 5-speed so, for me, it makes it a blast to drive. I would buy a new one in a second!
