Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

I purchased my 92 Honda Accord EX coupe with Manual transmission 13 years ago. Ive been tremendously satisfied with my great car. During the first decade I did not have any significant problems. In the last couple of years Ive finally had to replace the clutch and replace the timing belt for the second time. Aside for a few rattles and squeaks, this car still gets me to work every day. I bought an Acura TL but I cannot bring myself to sell this car.

  • Excellent car - 2007 Honda Accord
    By -

Went from a 2003 Altima 4 cyl. to the 2007 6 cyl. Accord, so the comparison is a little unfair, but I have been very impressed with the Hondas power and handling. The fit, finish and build quality on the Honda are far superior to the Nissan--the Accord feels like a Mercedes Benz compared to the Altima!

  • Headrests - 2010 Honda Accord
    By -

We had not purchased a new vehicle since 1994, and we are currently still driving a 2006 Toyota Camry LE. I have wanted a Honda Accord for a long time and chose the 2010 Honda Accord LX-P for my "retirement car." So far I have not been disappointed in this car. My only complaint is that the drivers headrest will not stay in position. We took it back, and the mechanic swapped it with the passenger headrest. Once the passenger headrest was in place on the drivers side, it would not stay in place either. I am a short person so I really need this headrest in the correct position. If this can just get resolved, I will be a happy camper. The car drives very well. The road noise was not too bad.

  • 2003 Accord V6 w/Navigation - 2003 Honda Accord

This is my 4th Accord and they have out domne themselves with this one. It is my first V6 and the power took a bit to get used to. car has everything I could ever ask for in a car. Can not say enough good things about it.

  • Nice Car - 2003 Honda Accord

I was looking for an everyday car that is quiet, comfortable, good mileage, and stone-cold reliable. I like the outside. It is well done with clean lines.

  • One Fine Automobile - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

My previous Honda was a 1988 Accord LX with 165,000 miles. I looked at other vehicles in the same price range as the 2003 Accord, and found nothing else that came even close. I find myself wanting to take the long way to and from from work, just to drive it. It accelerates quite nicely when entering the highway, and passing is quite easily accomplished. I am sure the mileage will improve a bit once the engine gets past its break-in period, but it is quite good as it is. Drive it once, and you will compare every other vehicle to the 2003 Accord.

  • Beautiful car - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

Very little difference from the 2003 except for the addition of XM satellite radio. A beautiful car with a great ride, and a very good price considering all the bells and whistles. Am very pleased with this purchase and plan to drive this car (our fourth Honda) for a very, very long time.

  • Honda Accord is Great - 2000 Honda Accord
    By -

This is my third Honda Accord that I have owned since 1985. Its my first EX and from now on, thats all I will buy is the EX. It is a maual shift, 4- cyl, leather and its a great riding car. I have almost 50,000 miles on it since Dec 30, 1999 and its been absolutely reliable, confortable and economical.
