Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Look Carefully Before You Buy - 2006 Honda Accord
By mrbritcar - February 19 - 9:16 amBlinded by Honda reputation. Did not look as carfully as we should have. Seats are very hard. No lumbar adjustment. Brakes very touchy. Sheet metal is thin, almost dents by pushing on it. Paint quality not good (lots of orange peel). Not smooth, steering wheel and shifter vibrate at idle, worse when cold. Glass in windshield is poor quality, lots of distortion. Its an inexpensive car that will probably run great for a long time but it is clear that they needed to cut corners to keep the price down. In retrospect, something else would have been a better choice.

Just Bought One! - 2003 Honda Accord
By cserrato - February 18 - 2:00 amI just bought this vehicle, and I love it. It is a lot more fun to drive than you would think. It has excellent power and a smooth ride. 2 strangers have come up and told me how good it looks! I know Honda has a rep for boring, but try it before you knock it and this car sips gas, I go over 200 miles on a full tank.

Get this Car! - 2003 Honda Accord
By beeminbobby - February 18 - 2:00 amWow! Bullseye, Honda!! First, this car is fast! Second, the interior design, fit/finish and ergonomics are top notch, and the illumination on the gauges are world class. Thirds, the exterior fit and finish is impeccable, and the black paint is flawless. So what if the exterior design is..eh, okay. If you are having problems with the new design, try to reserve final judgement until the test drive. Trust me, youll get over any aesthetic problems toot-sweet!. This car is that good. If youre looking at a Toyota, Nissan, or even Acura, make sure you check out the new Accord first.

best car for the $s - 2003 Honda Accord
By rowzell - February 18 - 2:00 amWhy would you look at any other car made? The only cars we test drove that came close to the 03 V-6 Accord were at least $18000 more upfront and given Hondas resale and cost of ownership, this is truly the best car on the market today.

Rock solid - 1997 Honda Accord
By alex - February 17 - 9:15 pmBest car Ive ever owned. Requires no repairs, EVER. I live where there is salt on the roads, hence a new radiator due to rust. 100% reliable, would drive it anywhere in North America. You dont know quality til youve owned a Honda.

Pleasantly Surprised - 2007 Honda Accord
By Zzzooom - February 17 - 8:36 amAs the current owner of 2 Mazda 6s V6s which I just handed over to my sons to take off to college in, I did not think I would like the 4 cylinder Accord. However, I am very impressed with this 4 cylinder. I have the 5 sp manual (as I do with the Mazdas) and the Honda engine is very impressive. Another thing I noticed is that the Mazdas are more of a drivers car in that they feel like they are going fast around the twisties; however the Honda takes the same curves at the same speed and makes it feel uneventful. After thinking about that I conclude that the Honda is actually the better handler, it just does not make an ordeal out of it. The fit and finish is superior to any car I have owned.

Honda Hybrid Experience - 2006 Honda Accord
By JR Leitch - February 16 - 4:06 pmMy 2006 Honda Hybrid has quality written all over it! This is my third Honda, and I know my next one will also be a Honda. I think Honda did an excellent job designing the suspension. The gas mileage is a little disappointing, but that is probably me being a little heavy on the gas pedal. I love it.

Off to a good start - 2005 Honda Accord
By Sonny - February 15 - 2:40 amThis is my second Accord and the best so far. Very happy with performance and build quality but disappointed with road noise. Fuel efficiency acceptable considering the pep from the V6. Overall, very impressed after 500 miles of ownership.

Beware of Honda quality standard - 2010 Honda Accord
By bigmistake - February 15 - 1:06 amIf you are considering 8th gen Honda Accord, do your research on what you are going to deal with. It is not the Accord that it used to be. Mine is Silver and its painting has zebra stripes all over it. Yet, Honda insists that it is normal and refuse to deal with the issue while none of the silver Accord owners and Dupon automotive painting rep I contacted think its normal. You will have to deal with all kind of creaking and rattling noises, in addition to ear-deafening noises from road, tire, wind and so on. Sub par braking performance. So so engine performance and so so fuel economy. Styling is nice but not worth it considering what you have to go through during your ownership.
