Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • By Far the Best Design & Performance... - 2008 Honda Accord
    By -

This is my 5th Honda. Starting at purchase year 1987- Prelude - through Accord. I purchased a 2004 V6- Leather and I did not think Honda could do any better with design or performance. I can tell you their research with design and engine has really served the new 2008 Honda Accord well. This car handles like no other Honda I have driven. It is simply the best by far and Looks great. Very Classy, Sporty design. I definitely recommend a test drive. You will not be disappointed.

The Accord drives great. I dont think its any better than the Acura. As it gets broke in more, it seems to get better and better. The V-6 is powerful but if youre not looking for performance, the 4 banger has plenty of power and better MPGs.

  • Trouble free vehicle! - 2001 Honda Accord

We have had no problems with our Accord. It has only needed a new set of tires since we purchased it. It is very comfortable for 4 large adults and is fuel efficient. Performance with the 4 cylinder is adequate. The automatic transmission is sluggish to downshift. It handles and brakes very well. I am somewhat concerned with the amount of reviews refering to the premature failure of the automatic transmissions. Fortunately, our dealer "gave" us a 10 yr/100000mi waranty--hopefully we wont have to use it. The dealer in Kingsport is very good but you have to remind them to wash your car, update your records in your owners manual, stamp your 5 oil changes get the sixth one free card.

  • Decent Car - 1999 Honda Accord

I have had my Accord for a year and a half now. I bought it with 80,000 miles on it and have since added 20,000. It hasnt had any serious problems. The brake lines and gas lines rusted all the way through. That was about $150. The Transmission is kind of rough when you first start it, but after 5 min. it is fine.

  • Great replacement for my 99 Accord - 2004 Honda Accord

This car replaces my 1999 Accord EX that was totaled by stop sign runner. The few complaints I had for my old car were nicely fixed in the new one. I paid about the same price but got so much more with CD changer, side airbags, steering wheel sound system control, larger tires, 5 spedd automatic

  • I Love My New Accord - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

I just recently purchased a brand new Honda Accord EX with leather and a manual transmission and I love it. Driving it is so much fun. There is so much power even in just a 4 cylinder. This is definitely a luxury sedan in my opinion and worth every penny. I highly recommend purchasing a new Honda Accord. I got an excellent deal in my area...MSRP of only $22138 instead of $23990. After adding on splash guards, door guards, a moon roof visor, cargo net and gold emblem kit and 6 year, 100,000 mile warranty my final price was $24232.81. What a deal. I love it and give this vehicle five stars. Thanks Cleo Bay Honda, for making my day!

  • Great Value & Reliability for the $ - 2002 Honda Accord

Bought my 02 Accord EX V6 brand new in June 02 and have just over 62,000 miles on it. The car is the best one weve ever bought (we replaced a 95 Accord LX with 168K). We havent had any failures and the only maintenance weve done is new front brake pads, an air filter, oil &filter changes and a trans fluid change. Two minor repairs were the black plastic on the seek button wore off (new radio under warranty) and we bent a wheel to the extent it couldnt be balanced, so it had to be replaced ($295). DonÂ’t let the Honda dealer talk you out of using Amsoil synthetic ATF. My shifts are smoother with Amsoil than Honda Z-1.

  • Awesome - 2003 Honda Accord

This car is so awesome!I love it, it belonged to my grandpa until he died.

  • Fun, Practical Car - 1998 Honda Accord
    By -

This car is a great. The V6 is very powerful. It shifts smoothly. The gas mileage is pretty good considering the engine (27 mpg on highway). I drive it a lot on long trips, and it is very comfortable to ride in. It has lots of leg room in the front seats and the back seat is not too bad considering it is a coupe. The trunk is quite large, and Im able to throw golf clubs and a couple suitcases in there and still have room to spare. IF I ever replace this car, it would be with a newer accord V6.
