Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Poor Navigation system - 2013 Honda Accord
By gwithrow - July 19 - 8:42 amThis is worse than my 6 year old COSTCO Garmain GPS which I use in my new 2013 Honda Accord. It shows grey streets BUT without names of streets. Go figure, a map without street names?

My First Honda - 2013 Honda Accord
By happy_doug - July 16 - 1:17 pmI have to say that my first time dealing with Honda was a real pleasant surprise. I purchased the Honda Accord because I needed a nice sedan after having a great Hyundai SUV that I worked to death. The quality and nice amenities that came with this basic model is amazing. No one else could give me the same bennies Honda could or the same quality after checking out the competition. I also wanted something that depreciated less than the other brands. Only Toyota Camry was equal in the respect and after being in the Camry, I saw that the interior was inferior and the design a bit dated. The 2013 Honda is fantastic and turns heads everywhere I go. As pretty as a BMW

Scared - 2003 Honda Accord
By bigjohn112 - July 14 - 4:56 pmI wish I had read more reviews before buying this car for my daughters first. I found this car at a dealer. One owner, 119K, no wrecks, no damage. Car looked a drove great. AC did not blow as cold as I thought it should but they checked it and replaced a sensor. I am going to change the transmission fluid as soon as possible. But with all the talk about tranny problems I find myself listening for odd noised and weird shifting . We have only had it a few days, but may end up wishing I had got a 2004+

Best Accord Yet! - 2013 Honda Accord
By tstapleton - July 14 - 11:00 amThis review is for our 2013, Accord V-6 EX-L coupe. We are third time accord owners, 1993 station wagon, a 2008 sedan and now our coupe. We purchased a V-6 EX-L coupe in March 2013. The Accord was purchased to replace our 2009 Infiniti G37S, and we are happy with the swap.

adequate - 2013 Honda Accord
By mhubert1 - July 14 - 3:39 am13000 miles and going. Interior a plus (leather and all the bells and whistles) Software is lacking. Audio has demonstrated software problems. delay in the Wiper system has already malfunctioned. Gas Mileage is amazing @ 36 average...sometimes 39. Extreme delay in initial acceleration with CVT transmission-Would prefer the gears. Overall a sharp looking car. So far has proved to be reliable. 89 out of 100

Another outstanding Honda automobile It - 2013 Honda Accord
By jaacolumbusnc - July 13 - 10:28 amIt is now time to rate my 2013 Honda Accord EX-L, 4 cyl CVT. The car was purchased on 4 Jan 2013 from my salesperson Sharon G. at Dick Brooks Honda in Greer, SC. Suffice to say the entire experience was outstanding in all areas. I now have 9,500 miles and it is a flawless product. I just finished a 430 mile trip on 12 July from my home in Columbus, NC to Canton, GA in the same day. The total consumption of gas was 13.4 gallons. Driving included interstate, city, A/C and heavy traffic plus heavy rain. I could not be more satisfied in the handling of the car.

A GREAT car! - 2002 Honda Accord
By moderate1 - July 13 - 9:50 amI love my 2002 Accord sedan, but wish I had gone with the coupe :( and ABS. Its a great car I bought it used from the dealer in 2005 and luckily it still had some of its warranty left had it so when the trans started slipping they fixed it and gave me a rental car all for free and had it fixed in a day. The reason I love it so much is because its not like these new cars where you HAVE to take it to the mechanic to get it fixed because the engine is covered or its got comp glitches. I can change my spark plugs easily and that I like. Its very loud when driving on the freeway, you can barely hear the person sitting next to you. If you take care of your car you should have no problems.

Fun drive but audio and phone performance terrible - 2013 Honda Accord
By mml43 - July 11 - 11:09 amToo many bells and whistles that dont work. This is my 4th Accord in 20+ years, and by far the worst, most annoying experience. Delivered with an inoperable CD player so the entire audio unit had to be replaced from the factory. Then the audio had to be repaired under a recall because the sound would fade in and out and be drowned in buzzing static. Virtually no bass/subwoofer - my 1999 and 2006 Accord had better sound. Will be going back to dealer for the third time in less than 6 months Ive owned it to find out why all speed dial settiings are sporadically erased but the voice tags remain. Also speed dial numbers arent always accessible even when theyre displayed/

Sporty and Smooth - 2013 Honda Accord
By cjoconn - July 10 - 9:43 amPurchased the car about a week ago and ive received nothing but compliments from people that have seen it. The car looks and feels sporty (i especially like the LED headlights and dual exhaust) and im getting a combined 29MPG on an even mix of city and highway driving over the first 200 miles with ECON not enabled. I plan on using the ECON feature on my next tank of gas to compare the difference. The inside is roomy and comfortable. The technology features are great, there is just so much you can do with all of the bluetooh enabled options. The NAV screen is large and has a crisp resoltuion and the rear and side cameras are a nice addition. Overall, a great experience so far.
