Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

The 2008 Honda Accord Sedan EXL Navi is a great daytime driving car. You can relax and drive for hours and still feel refreshed at the end of the trip. Night driving can be dangerous though. The headlights flicker every 16 seconds, making the drive stressful and tiresome. This flickering makes it harder to focus on the obstacle head. Its important to note that this problem is common on all 2008 Honda Accords. The instrumentation is not user friendly at first but once you learn how to use the basic voice commands it becomes acceptable. Its also a good conversation subject. The Accords interior look and feel great. Lots of room and very comfortable.

This is best car I have ever owned. I have owned over 10 different cars over the years, and this 2016 Accord is the best car for the money, I compared it to a Volvo S80, and a Subaru Legacy it is far superior. The ride, handling, comfort, features they are the best.

This car has got to be the best car I have every had. I bought it used and have only had to get the oil change in it. It rides smooth gets up speed fast and quite. Its now 4 years old and it still turns heads when i go places. If you are looking for a gas saver, fun to drive car this is the one.

Have had no problems. I had one recall on the driver side airbag which was replaced. It is my second Honda Accord. The first one (a 98) gave me no problems also.

Use the car to commute 70 miles a day & freeway trips. Comfortable and fun to drive on trips and around town. Far better car than the Malibu it replaced. Have gotten up to 29 mpg. But usually get 26 during the commute. The car is big enough to fit three adults in the back seat.

  • First Accord - Love it - 2007 Honda Accord

I really like my Accord SE 4cyl. Its roomy, gets great gas mileage, looks sharp, and drives a lot nicer then my 2002 Camry. My Camry has a very soft "Lincoln like" ride while my Accord has a more sporty ride. DONT BUY THE HONDA MUSIC LINK IPOD CONNECTOR! Honda should not be selling this unit. It expensive ($289 inc/install), the functionality is useless, cant use the iPod controls when its connected. Cant wait to see the 2008 model.

Only getting 15 mph city driving & 20 mph overall on 1/2 highway-1/2 city driving using very conservative driving habits! Fuel economy not good for a 4 cylinder engine built by a firm advertising itself as "the most fuel efficient automaker in the world." 190 hp engine has plenty of power when you need it to accelerate onto the highway. Steering is very precise with only about 2 turns of the wheel lock-to- lock. Has great ride/handling balance- not too firm yet not too soft-so you dont sacrifice the ride to get good handling. Autotransmission upshifts/downshifts smoothly. Cloth front seats big & comfortable. Three people easily fit in back seat. Love the sunroof. Do not notice road noise.

  • AWESOME CAR - 2003 Honda Accord

I was really into mazda 6 before this, but after test driving that car, i was really disappointed. especially 4 cylinder mazda 6. it drove worse than my 99 accord. i test drove 4 cylinder accord and it drives like V6 of the last model. it has really smooth transmission and interior. INTERIOR IS AWESOME. love this car. highly recommended for those looking into midsize cars.

Very roomy, reliable and solid, Almost 40k miles and not once 4 repairs of any kind! Just the faceof the radio needed to be clue back on. Regular oil changes and at 30k air filter. Very comfortble for long or all day driving and very economical. Average MPG 28 mix.

  • Some good, Some bad - 2002 Honda Accord

I picked up my Honda in 02, wanting a troublefree commuter car. At 26K, the transmission completely died on mine. This is apparently common. The dealerships say otherwise. The car is pretty solid, though and the gas mileage is 25-30. The interior fabric is in fact, junk. For what this car cost, I expected better. The electrical system has always been junk, with more bugs than a rain forest. Also, be forewarned that your insurance will be high for this car, as Hondas are theft magnets. Too much cabin noise, but great trunk space. Back seats a joke. 23K bought no luxury, but still wasnt cheap. Decide if you want to go upmarket or be and affordable hauler.
