Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Sweet 6MT! - 2005 Honda Accord
By Tim - April 10 - 7:56 amI purchased this car in June of 05 and have had nothing but good experiences with it. The 6MT is a real pleasure to drive. The shifting is quick and precise (could be better with a shorter shifter). The V6 is quiet but has a nice growl when the rpms climb above 4k. 1st and 2nd Gears are my favorite - pulls with great intensity. Overall, the interior is nice to look at, the ride is smooth, and it gets fantastic gas mileage.

Another Honda, another great car - 2008 Honda Accord
By wronskain - April 10 - 6:30 amThis is my 5th Honda and my second Accord. My previous Accord was a 2004 6cyl coupe and I loved it. Traded it for a new 2006 Civic sedan (as we had our firrst child) with navigation and I enjoyed that car as well. I love the new size and the body shape of the 08. The interior is well thought out (like all Hondas) and the new non-touchscreen nav took a couple of days to get the hang of (the Civic had touch screen interface) but now I prefer it. Audio system is fantastic (get the subwoofer). VCM is completely transparent. I never hesitate recommending a Honda.

Excessive wind noise. - 2013 Honda Accord
By disappointed90 - April 10 - 4:31 amIve never posted an online review but often refer to them. In fact I wouldnt have purchased a new Accord if not for the positive reviews from professionals and consumers alike. I am so disappointed in my 2013 Honda Accord EX Sedan I felt I must say something so others may benefit or at least be prepared. Before purchasing please do a web search for "2013 Accord wind noise". Youll find talk of TSB 13-010 and feedback from many people with complaints of excessive wind noise starting at 60 mph and especially 75 and above. For me its an absolutely miserable driving experience. My dealer has been great but Ive had it in 3 times in my first 5 weeks of ownership.

My First Month - 2008 Honda Accord
By Bruce - April 10 - 1:23 amThis is my first Honda and my first new car. Im coming from driving a 12 year- old Camry. Everything I read about the Accord was that it is louder, road noise-wise, than the Camry. Thats an understatement. I figured that going from a 96 Camry to an 08 Accord Id have a quieter car, but I was wrong. Ive read that you can get tires that are quieter, so eventually I may do that. But for now, Ill just turn up the stereo. The car is fun to drive on back roads and cruises smoothly on the highways. It feels solid and I feel safe in it.

Great Car - 1991 Honda Accord
By Runnerr - April 9 - 11:45 pmI bought this car about 6 months ago for $1700. One of the best cars I have ever owned. I test drove the 2005 Civic but the 91 overall was a better car. And only about 10% of the price. Changed plugs, wires, oil filler cap, valve gasket cover. Just bought new struts and adjustible coilover springs. Replacing windshield. And repainting the entire car in June due to the rust on the passenger side like all 90 -93s. Runs very strong, will drive anywhere!!

My Sporty New Accord EX-L Navi - 2006 Honda Accord
By KC Jefferies - April 7 - 10:30 amI did my home-work at Edmunds.com & Hondas website, which was pretty good. It helped me pick the car, color, & options, for a list price. Using a buying service, helped me get a great price! Actually driving a new one, showed me much improvement over my 97 Accord LX. The horsepower up 36, is at 166 & zippy! I ordered RED with spoiler, fog lights, & black bra, which gets the looks! The gray leather is excellent, making me feel like Im in my Dads Lexus. The CD Sound System, with XM radio, is superb & the cruise control right-on. What makes it really fun is the Navigation System. It controls the CD/Radio/XM & Air Conditioning with Voice Commands. I get 24 to 31 mpg, urban/hwy. Nice!

Nice 08 Accord - One glitch noticed - 2008 Honda Accord
By SR45 - April 6 - 5:36 amVery nice looking car inside and out. Nav system top rated by me and the console is very well laid out. One major glitch on this new car is the new constant rattle noise noticed towards the right rear passager area during cooler weather only (possible weld issue in the strut tower). Very noticeable and giving me a real pain. Dealership noticed rattle as well, but unable to try a fix until some clips are ordered first to replace those that are removed from the trunk area. Seems this car is too new to have these clips on hand for the trunk liner. Ride is good, smooth, and the gas mileage is around 33 mpg highway, but very low around 18 city.

Simply Superb - 2008 Honda Accord
By ankith - April 5 - 1:26 pmThis is my third Honda and its just superb. With a V6 and nearly 270hp on the engine, its ready to race with any other on the road. VCM works out nice for better mileage. Awesome interior with great comfort.great accelaration. Great interior features. It puts out power no sooner you stomp on the accelerator unlike a few other other cars which think for a while before responding. No regret in buying this beautiful car.
