Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Ok if you look past build quality issues - 2004 Honda Accord
By oldsroyale - April 16 - 10:00 amMy EXV6 cp is plagued with squeaks, creaks, rattles, and buzzing. The dealer had trouble fixing them. The interior looks and feels solid, but the seats are shaped poorly. The transmission shifts hard and isnt responsive. On the plus side, the 3.0 engine gives you great high-end response if you have it in the right gear. Im getting 24- 25mpg on 87 in mixed driving. Handling is decent and inspires confidence. Brakes are catchy, but hard braking elicits the EBD, and ABS is too easy to kick in. Dont know about snow yet. Serious buyers: buy the 6sp, and dont accept delivery until you are satisfied that your car is rattle-free and prepped properly.

Great Car ...but worth the money? - 2016 Honda Accord
By Dheepak Ramnathan - April 15 - 2:57 pmHonda Dealerships are in general deceptive with a lot of hidden fees much like toyota dealerships. It is a great reliable car... But some of the features in there are too pricey... They should make honda sensing standard.

Honda Accord EX-L - 2001 Honda Accord
By Ryan Riederer - April 14 - 10:00 amThe Accord has been comfortable and functional yet not terriably exciting. Our car has had the air bags stolen twice in less than two years and is a direct result form being such a popular car. As much as I like hondas I will never purchase another until the something has been done to change the conformity of the airbags. I know it is cheaper for Honda to have uniform airbags in every Arura and Honda but this only increases the value (ability to fence) on the black market.

An awesom car! - 2001 Honda Accord
By mc1223 - April 14 - 10:00 amI used to drive a Jetta which I loved, but decided to go with a Honda after my friend put 179k on her 89 Accord, which ran incredible. I have a 02 Accord EX Coupe (only 4cyl), which could be faster, but thats what performance intakes and exhaust systems are for. Its extremely comfortable and rides very smooth. Gas mileage is good, which helps me with the amount of miles I put on it. The car is good looking, which will turn heads once I finish with the work I am doing to it. Bottom line...this car will run forever if you take car of it and is one of the most reliable cars out there. Resale value is also excellent.

Heaven Sent - 1997 Honda Accord
By Val - April 14 - 10:00 amThis vehicle has been heaven sent. First owner and vehicle now has about 53,000 miles, and never experienced one mechanical problem. Prior, owned a little civic hatchback and same history, never one mechanical problem. As a woman, I thank the heavens for this vehicle, never leaving me stalled, brokedown or anything unexpectedly going out on me especially on the road. I feel safe with my honda. Thanks Honda!

BEST USED CAR TO BUY - 1993 Honda Accord
By John - April 11 - 9:52 pmI cant believe how good these cars are. I bought a used one with 190,000 miles on it. Everyone thought I was crazy to pay $3500 for it but let me tell you. Now I have 250K on the car and IT STILL RUNS LIKE NEW. I will never sell this car, Cheap on gas, but you do have to fix few common problems every now and then. CV axes, radiator, speed sensor, and oxygen sensor. THATs it. And only every 60K or so... not bad. So dont just keep reading this, go and buy one. You will love it.
