Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Finally a car Im happy to drive - 2005 Honda Accord
By NoMoreFord - May 3 - 1:30 amIve had my Honda EX-L for just over 2 months now. I find myself HAPPY to drive again. Comfortable seats, a nice zippy engine that doesnt suck the gas every time I punch the gas to get on the freeway is always nice. Its easier to maneuver than my FORD vehicle I traded in and is much more stylish.

By csaleem - May 2 - 10:52 pmPurchased a gray LX used at 38k which was assembled in Japan. Changed Radiator, Ignition key switch, Battery and tires once. Runs great at 101k without any hesistation. Recently my friend tested it at 115 MPH still has some power. Just do the regular maintenence in the manual she will last a long time. Driver side window rolls up slow maybe need new motor.

Solid Car - 2001 Honda Accord
By mpiazzisi - May 2 - 10:00 amI have had many vehicles. American, German and Japanese. My American built Honda is the most reliable car I have ever had. Not in the shop one in almost 3 years. Except for new tires, after 45,000 miles.

4 dr Ferrari - 2004 Honda Accord
By bfleshner - May 2 - 10:00 amWe traded up from the 2002 EX V6, an excellent car. But now its like wow! The sound system is better. The navigation system. The interior room even larger. Performance with the 240hp V6 is breathtaking. The ride is more sportier this year with 16"wheels and a tighter suspension but still very comfortable. The drive by wire(no throttle cable) actually gives smoother throttle response, especially from a stop. Dual climate control is heaven. You can have the vehicle do or change whatever you want it to do just by asking it. Great voice recognition and the trip computer with all its various function are great.

By 6SpdAccordFan - May 2 - 10:00 amThis new Accord v-6 6 spd is unbievable. It drives smoother than anything else i compared it to (maxima, solara, is300, c320) The best part of buying my new car was he dealership I purchased it at. Gregg Martella my salesman was outstanding in understanding my needs and finding me the car that met all my needs. Herb Chambers in Burlington.

Very Well Built - 2003 Honda Accord
By mofo - May 2 - 10:00 amOverall it is a good car. very well built, very comfortable, rides smooth, ect ect. I came froma sports car so I have to put the performance down but I didnt expect it to be a sports car when I bought it. It is great for road trips but not so fun on small curvy roads. This car has every option a BMW or Lexus has on it but not the price tag.

2005 Honda Accord Hybrid - 2005 Honda Accord
By stlmo57 - April 29 - 11:46 pmI have about 4,200 miles on my 2005 Honda Accord Hybrid. After getting 31 mpg on my 1st full tank, I was anxious to see it improve to around 36 mpg as it was broke-in and I figured out how to drive it to get the optimun mpg. So far, after nearly 3 months I am very disappointed, the mpg has actually retreated to about 25 to 26. At this rate, it was not worth the premium. Cold weather appears to have an impact. I am pleased with the handling and acceleration. Overall, not the feel of luxury I had when I purchased my 2002 Maxima Nissan GLE new.

Decent, but rotors keep warping! - 2001 Honda Accord
By edsnooper - April 29 - 5:05 amI bought this car because I wanted reliability, and while the engine is reliable the brake rotors keep warping, casuing a strong vibration when stopping. Also honda sent me a notice after 10k miles that they had determined some of their cars had problems with the transmission, and that they were extending the warrenty to 100k. I guess that is pretty decent, except if I thought the honda would only go 100k, I would have sooner bought a cheaper and bigger/more powerful american car... I would think twice before buying another honda...
