Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Needs road comfort - 2005 Honda Accord
By Homerlly - May 18 - 9:06 amMy only complaint is the feel of every tar strip and bump as a thud not a good ride. Our traded in car, a 2002 Accord EX 6, was a dream road feel compared to this 05 model! If only Honda could keep the handling and have a softer road bump transmission to the passengers we would be 100% behind this car. If this doesnt bother you, go for it. This car is a bargin and fun to drive. Its only that the wife hates the thuds.

Running Strong after All Theses Years - 2003 Honda Accord
By Wendy G - May 17 - 9:16 pmI have done all the required maintenance on time and this car has never broken down..ever. That is the best thing about Hondas. You take care of them, they will take care of you. After 178,000 miles, all I have done is replace batteries, wipers, tires, brakes and an alternator. Regular attention to the owners manual has kept me rolling along and safe. Love this car!!

The worst car I ever bought - 2008 Honda Accord
By desibaba - May 17 - 9:50 amI bought this car for 19,500 (including taxes and fees) on the road (2008 accord LX 5AT). So make sure you get the best bargain. Dont buy this car if you dont have to. I test drove Toyota Camry also. That is not any better - lack of power. The drive feels like I am driving a U- Haul truck. I just hate this car.

Happy - 2003 Honda Accord
By Happy - May 17 - 9:10 amIve owed five Accords, an 84, 92, 95, 01, and 03. I still miss my 1984, but my 2003 is the best Accord Ive owed. I bought it new and have not had any problems in 26,000 miles, other than a transmission recall at no cost. I dont think you can buy a better car for the money.

The perfect family car - 2008 Honda Accord
By David Morin - May 16 - 6:00 pmWhen my wife totaled our Mazda6 Wagon I was sure wed replace it with a new Honda CRV. But after seeing the new Accord in the flesh it was too good to pass up. It was bigger, got better MPG, still offered a stickshift, and was cheaper. Even our "base" LX has all the amenities, all the safety items we demanded, and a ton of passenger space. The exterior, which looked so odd in pictures, is quite appealing in person. We got the black cloth interior and the polished metal exterior. It handles flatly in corners yet doesnt punish you with a harsh ride. The shifter is typical Honda-perfect. With a set of snow tires its handling VT winter like a champ.

Ahhhh the V6 - 2003 Honda Accord
By Joecord - May 14 - 10:00 amI read alot of reviews and checked it out. I was very impressed with the power of the V-6 and how nice the interior looks in EX model with leather. Interior is better than the Acura TL type S I test drove the day before. The TL might look a little cooler but other than the tail lights, the Accords cool too.

Best Value - 2003 Honda Accord
By BrianC - May 14 - 10:00 amGood solid car. The leather interior is MUCH better than the cloth -- spring for the upgrade.

The Best Car Ive Ever Owned - 2003 Honda Accord
By Hondaluv - May 14 - 10:00 amIve been a Honda guy since 1982. Ive also owned a couple of Toyotas in that time. Last December my wife decided it was time for her to move up to an Accord from her Civic. She settled on an LX and we happily drove it home from the dealer. I was blown away with all the features and immediately began to fantasize about A 2003 of my own. Problem was I had a 2002 Accord EX with . I gave in though and took delivery on a 2003 Accord EX V-6. What a car. It has power like I havent had in a car since my old Ford with the 390 ci engine. The comfort and handling are superb.

Wow, what a car. - 2003 Honda Accord
By JMB - May 14 - 2:00 amJust recently bought an 2003 Accord Ex 4 cylinder automatic, (traded-in my 2000 LeSabre)and really .... wow!! What a pleasure to drive, solid, quiet and as roomy inside as my full size LaSabre. Admittedly, I havent had the car long, but it has really impressed me with its quality.
