Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

03 Accord Coupe - 2004 Honda Accord
By dbakes - June 9 - 2:00 amAfter spending 40 years in sales/marketing, corporate policy was big three only. Family and friends had always raved about the quality, reliability and performance of Honda cars. I did considerable research online and in the marketplace and had decided on an Acura 3.2CL"S", then I saw a photo of the new Accord Coupe....I was smitten. The car is everything I expected it to be, marvelous interior and exterior, stiff as the Benz and much more competitively priced. I have very little criticism of this car. Still park it in the far corner of parking lots, no nicks and dings yet! It is a head turner!

FORGET AIR, I COULD LIVE OFF THIS CAR - 2003 Honda Accord
By Style703 - June 9 - 2:00 amI had been eyeing the Accord Coupe for 3 years before I bought one. I loved the old body style but the new one just defines my personality, simple stylish elegance with a touch of "out of the ordinary." Every make and model of new cars has their "lemons" which is how I explain bad reviews of this car. That is the only way I can justify it to myself. I will stick up for the Accord to the grave! I built up this car in my head for years before I bought one and it has yet to disappoint me. Mine has no rattles, handles like a dream and in my opinion is one of the best looking cars on the road.

This is one reliable vehicle - 1997 Honda Accord
By MickC - June 7 - 10:00 amThis is the second Accord I have owned. The first was a 84 that I owned for 14 years; both vehicles have performed flawlessly. I have only spent money on maintenance and tinted windows. After 4 years I still havent even bought new tires or replaced brake pads! I dropped in a K&N filter a couple of years ago and I get 27mpg/400 miles per tank city driving. I have waxed it one time recently and my neighbors told me that they were jealous.

my accord - 2001 Honda Accord
By clevinger - June 7 - 10:00 amI bought this car through Autoweb. I got what I wanted: a car that I dont have to think about, carries 4 adults, and enough options to keep my mind occupied. The only things I dont like are the gas mileage 19 mpg average, but 25 on long trips, and theres a sqeak in the passenger door that drives me crazy.

BEST VALUE - 1999 Honda Accord
By Steve Ngo - June 7 - 10:00 amThis is my 4th Honda Accord and I have 6 Hondas total. Since my 1991 Honda Accord, we have never seen the dealer for any repair jobs. Only for maintenance work. Hondas are great cars, and the Accord remains on my list every single year.

2000 is the one bad year - 2000 Honda Accord
By mcadoo11 - June 6 - 9:07 pmI love Honda Accords and owned the 1984 version for well over a dozen years but my 2000 Accord has been a bust, as the engine had to be replaced with just 64,000 miles on it. Consumer Reports show it is the one bad year for Accords.

My new sports car! - 2006 Honda Accord
By D, Cochrane - June 6 - 6:53 amI bought this car after driving 4 door sedans for years as a caregiver for my folks. Ive in the past, driven Hondas and always loved them..never had any reason to take them back in for any type of noises, etc. I love this care even tho Ive had it such a short time. It is very sporty...was a showroom floor model. A bit sportier, with all the bells and whistles that I really didnt need, but get many compliments on it and just having lots of fun with it. My 90 yr. old father even enjoys it!!! Would never own anything but a Honda again in the future!! I know Ill get even more enjoyment out of it this fall and winter, as Ill be able to utilize my sunroof. The stereo is awesome also!

Very happy so far - 2009 Honda Accord
By cecexo - June 5 - 9:36 amHave my Honda for 8 months with no problem. Glad I made this choice. The car is somewhat big, so parking may be an issue. The only other thing is road noise. Otherwise - comfort, quality, MPG, appearance are superior. Get used to VSM, which did not like in the beginning.

The Best Car Ever - 2002 Honda Accord
By Liz - June 5 - 1:37 amI bought this car brand new in 2002. My first V6 and it drives like a dream. I have a lead foot and do a lot of fast breaking so Ive had to replace the brakes and rotors 3 times since I bought it. Original tires lasted 80K miles. Changed all the belts after 100K miles even though it didnt need it. Maintenance on this car is a little pricey, but so worth it. This car is so much fun to drive and its a hot little car even if its not a sports car. After I wash it, I still get compliments even after owning it for 4 years. People whove known me longer still ask, "did you get a new car?" I worry about buying a new car when this one dies. I dont know if any other car will live up to this one.
