Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

The Manual SE is one heck of a car - 2006 Honda Accord
By christacey - June 23 - 11:26 pmTraded my 03 Chevy Silverado ext cab for the Accord SE, was originally looking at a new Civic, but too small in back for 3 kids. This car rocks! My wife has an 04 Accord LX and she wishes the SE would have been offered then. You are basically getting an EX for much cheaper (minus the moonroof and nav). It has 4 wheel disc brakes, fancy cloth and carbon fiber trim, etc. The stick shift makes it feel like a small race car. The changes to the exterior make the car more sporty. The changes to the interior add luxury, but not much bells and whistles like on other cars in this price range. It is an awesome car - its a Honda! Reliability, gas mileage, safety, and handling are reminders.

The car that really sells itself - 2001 Honda Accord
By Leslie Harris - June 22 - 2:03 pmThis is the best car that I have every had. In fact all the Hondas that I have owned have been excellent vehicles, that is what keeps me coming back for more. With 98,000 miles it still rides solid, strong and true.

ItÂ’s all about design - 2006 Honda Accord
By RAB - June 21 - 2:10 pmTo me, the car just feels right – the seat (power leather), handling, road feel, I4 power. On the typical bad roads in my area, the ride is a bit harsh. Better tires than OEM Bridgestones may help. Fuel mileage is amazing for a car this size. I have not gotten less than 31 mpg and have gotten as high as 38 mpg! Who needs a hybrid?

Mix of Power and Economy - 2005 Honda Accord
By Cliff Gerber - June 18 - 6:30 pmThe 2005 Hybrid is a vast improvement over the 1998 Accord Coupe V6 that I previously owned. The ride is smoother, the vehicle is much quieter--with the exception of some road noise. Mileage on pure highway driving is exceptional, slightly better than the EPA rating in my experience. City driving can vary significantly depending upon conditions. My experience is between 23 and 27 mpg in town, averaging a little over 24 for city driving. In my opinion thats pretty good for a powerful V6. Transition between modes of power: IMA + gasoline engine, 6 cylinder gasoline power and three cylinder power (with and without assist) is usually very smooth, but occasionally noticeable.

Awesome care with great improvements!! - 2008 Honda Accord
By krish017 - June 17 - 2:06 pmThis is my very first honda accord and i love to drive this car. It has all the feature i was looking for in any other mid-size economy car. The interior is roomy, exterior is definitely better than BMW 3 series. I just filled my gas at 350 miles with little left in it. I drive both on highways/locals. The heated leather seat is very comfortable and audio system is rocking. In my opinion, Honda accord 08 EX-L (4I) model is definitely better than toyota XLE (4 cylinder) top line model. I would highly recommand this car to people not only for look but also for fuel economy since this gas pricing are booming!!

Noisy Car - 2013 Honda Accord
By hondaccord09 - June 16 - 1:49 pmThis car is so loud that it takes away a lot of the driving enjoyment. It doesnt give you a luxury feel when driving this car. You have to crank up the volume. Even at low speed you can feel and hear the road from the cabin. They need to get rid of the loud cabin/road noise, especially when driving at high speed. Toyota and Nissan car are much quieter if noise is an issue for you.

Best bang for your buck. - 2003 Honda Accord
By Badamthegreat1 - June 15 - 10:00 amI spent a few months researching all different types of cars before making my final decision. I found that the EX V6 Coupe had the perfect mix of performance, comfort, and economy for my tastes.

Its a keeper - 2003 Honda Accord
By chrisL - June 15 - 10:00 amOur last car was the current model VW Passat. Nice car, but highly problematic. Our new Accord is head and shoulders above the Passat. Honda realized that folks want the feel and performance of a German car. The Accord hits this target with a totally un- Honda feel in all the right ways. Steering, handling, and powertrain work with the precision of a fine German car. The 4-cylinder is smooth and powerful; the auto transmission is razor sharp and always selects the right gear. The car has great passing power and brakes to match. Having owned the Passat and having test-driven Camry and Mazda6, the new Accord is better in every way.
