This Year's Model Updates:

Honda takes a bold leap for 2005 with the introduction of the Hybrid Accord. Rather than add a hybrid motor to its four-cylinder, Honda bolts its third-generation IMA system to the Accord's already-potent V6. In one fell swoop the Accord hybrid has become the class leader in fuel economy (30 city, 38 highway) and power (255 horsepower). Other changes for the 2005 Honda Accord this year include new wheel cover designs for the LX and EX trims, a new coin pocket design, illuminated steering wheel controls and improved rear styling in sedans with redesigned taillamps. In addition, front-seat side airbags and full-length head curtain airbags are now available on all trim levels all the way down to the base DX model.

  • Great Value. Great ride for its class - 2005 Honda Accord

Paid $17988.00 including destination. Enjoying a comfortable ride. ABS is good, but not excellent. Transmission is as smooth as they come. The highway ride is an A. Cornering could be a bit better. For every day performance I would rate this 4cyl.a # 9 Handled well in rain storm. This car is worth considering, noise is not an issue. Wish me luck. I am counting on Hondas reputation!

Overall, this is a fantastic car. The four cylinder feels stronger than a lot of base V6s, especially in the 50-80 mph range. It rides smoothly, yet corners crisply. The 5 speed auto is better than any other Ive driven, but being accustomed to a stick, it still seems a bit too twitchy. Especially with the cruise on, its over eager to downshift. It shouldnt ever have to shift down to 3rd on the freeway in the MidWest. With the cruise off, it seems to shift more conservatively. Shifts are always very smooth. Gas mileage has been a little low, 16-18 mpg city. Hopefully that will improve (only 1500 miles on it now). The ABS brakes are incredible, even in turns, and almost silent.

This car is not only fast, it is classy! The heated seats are great, and the navi system doesnt let me get lost. For me, the navi system was a necessity, not just a luxury. This car is safe...safe...safe!

I have owned this car for two months and have yet to see another one. I wanted something fast, comfortable, stylish, and relatively inexpensive that would hold its resale value. I got everything I wanted. The six-speed is very smooth. The build quality is superb. Everything just seems to be so well thought out. You get much more content when you choose 6MT over automatic. 1. Upgrade from 16" to 17" wheels 2. Sport Suspension with tower brace. 3. Perforated leather seats 4. Much better tires. 5. Sound system upgrade from 120W to 180W 6. Intake manifold tuned for better sound above 4500RPM. This car loves the tight twisties but is a business jet on the turnpike at 2500rpm/80mph.

To dramatically improve the front, be sure to add the front under spoiler, fog lights, and half bra. To improve the rear fascia, add the rear deck-lid spoiler--not the raised lit one. To make the inside look even sportier, add the all-aluminum/metal trim. Makes the inside look that murch more classier. This is an awesome improvement from my 02 Accord Sedan...much more quiet and comfortable and smoother to drive. Interior is top notch, except for some little things mentioned below.

I am so excited to own a new accord. This car is giving me everything I want. I can even go to Home Depot and fit an eight foot piece of molding in the cabin and still shut the trunk:)

This car is like our 2004 Acura RL - mini version. Currently getting 33mpg in town driving. No road figures yet. A real pleasure for the 35 mile commute (one way) each morning. It has excellent response and quite a good ride. Instrumentation is easy to read and it is gas supplemented by the Integrated Motor Assist (IMA). More power than the standard Accord and due to its lighter wieght, much more peppy off the line and when you need it on the road. Creature features are excellent. Had to pay MSRP, but no mark-up at least. Thats been known to happen with lesser vehicles. This car took me into the hybrid market. Hadnt seen one I liked the looks of until this came along.

I had a 92 honda accord and loved it, it was reliable and fun to drive, when looking for a new car I knew I had to get another honda. I got my first speeding ticket with this car, (I couldnt feel the speed) I got used to the 130 hp. going 90 in this new car felt as if i was going 65 in my old car.. I was impressed with the power, acceleration and handling..
