Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Much better than I imagined! - 2013 Honda Accord

Accord Sport w/ the 6sp is amazing! I have been a die hard Honda fan, but always liked the Civic model. Traded in the 08 Civic 5sp manual for this, and have been blown away by the difference in the first 650 miles. The manual transmission is smooth, the engine is quick to respond, and its got lots of power I often peel out in between gears when having fun with it. The quality of the cabin/exterior just feels like its going to last forever, and Im looking to push this car over 300,000 miles in the years to come!

  • 1,200 miles & Wont Start. Back to the shop we go :( - 2013 Honda Accord

Overall great design & performance for the Money. Very disappointed with the reliability, and Honda service. Honda has by far the absolutely WORST customer service, I have ever experienced. Currently my Accord is back in the shop for going on four days, no updates, calls and the vehicle is still not fixed. Finally got a loaner on the third day,and dealt with rude, under trained associates who gave me a filthy loaner car, with no update on my vehicles repairs, instead it was still sitting exactly where it was towed. Cant wait to get it back so I can go get my 2014 Lexus Is

  • Excellent Car (EX Sedan Automatic) - 1992 Honda Accord

I dont think I can say much negative about this car - Id say it has everything a driver needs plus more. Ive been driving it for a little bit more than 3 years now - it is my first car. Its reliable, sporty, comfortable, and I think it looks awesome (no mods)! I happened to come across one that looked like new, and it rocks! Only minor problems so far Id say - like hoses leaking, otherwise, great car. I think I just hit the 180000 mile mark - I think it has yet to hit its break-in point...may drive this car for years to come!

  • Honda Accord Sport 6M - 2013 Honda Accord

Bought this car four months ago and have 1300 miles on it. The car is very comfortable and fun to drive. Unfortunately, the car has been back to the dealer 5 times . The seals around the drivers side window are bad. The car sounds like a wind tunnel above 60 mph. In addition, some part is bouncing around in the dash making a constant rattle. The local dealership and Honda North American did nothing to fix the problem until I made it clear I was filing a lemon law complaint. Build quality of this first year model has been below normal for Hondas usual high standards.

  • Honda is back on track! - 2013 Honda Accord

I loved my 2000 Accord SE, but it was time to pass it down, and get myself something new. This Coupe is amazing. I have driven many manual trannies, but this one is the best. The engine has plenty of power, tugging smoothly at the low end and breathtakingly at the high end - and it makes wonderful sounds! Theres always a correct gear to select. Positioning of all controls is great. With only 200 miles on it, I got 30 mpg on a 460 mile trip, with a combination of city and mostly high speed highway, cruising at 80 mph (the speed limit in that part of Texas, thank you) and making no attempt to be frugal. City-only is averaging 24, again without trying. Sound system is awesome.

  • An Aston Martin it isnt, but its pretty damn OK - 2009 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought it with 48k and now it has 68k. I have all service records, its been cared for properly. Nothing has gone wrong with this car! Its a V6 sedan and its fast! It has about the slickest engine and transmission combination Ive ever driven. Except for some body roll, the handling qualities are great. The steering is agile and its goes exactly where you nudge it. Fine car.

  • Cant trust this car - 2010 Honda Accord

I have had my 2010 Accord for a little over three years. Just this year, I was told the oil was low so I needed a $125 software update. Within a couple of months, I was stranded on the highway with what Honda says was misfired spark plugs because of the low oil. Spark plugs changed software update re-done on June 1. By, July 7, oil was low again, I added a quart and then again around 2 weeks later. Last night noticed the car running rough, then it happened again. Check again light flashing car feeling like it was going to shut off. Off to the dealership we go....time to get rid of this clunker!!! I am so disappointed. Wish Honda would step up to the plate, Toyota did.

  • 13 Honda Accord Sport (6MT) - 2013 Honda Accord

Ill give the skinny to anyone seriously interested in buying the Accord Sport (MT). Buy it. I drove an Altima and the 14 Mazda 6 and neither one compared. I did not get a chance to drive the CVT version of the Honda Sport (never considered getting a CVT auto), so I cannot honestly review that car. But the 6 speed manual rocks. Short throws, very light clutch, responsive throttle. A pure joy to drive. If youre looking for an affordable, fun car, you simply cant go wrong with the Accord Sport. Im partial to driving manuals, and am amazed at what a great deal it is. I got mine for $21,800, with a nice dealer installed package thrown in.

  • Not what it used to be..... - 2011 Honda Accord
    By -

I have owned Hondas in the past, my first car was an Accord (1992). So when I needed to purchase a reliable car, I went back to the Accord. How times have changed. The first thing I noticed is the build quality has gone down hill (cheap plastics, rattles in strange places etc). I had to replace my "battery" at 15K miles (what they consider a battery) and have just replaced the REAR brake pads and rotors at 29K miles. To me, it seems like Honda has started cheaping out. This will be my last Honda, until they start putting some quality back into their vehicles.

  • Very Impressed! - 2013 Honda Accord
    By -

I leased an EXL and the car has exceeded my expectations. Having driven a 2007 Infiniti G35X the last 6 years I was prepared for a letdown. Although the Accord is no sports sedan it fulfills my current needs. It is very comfortable, roomy, stylish and gets outstanding gas mileage. The CVT performs flawlessly and although I was originally hesitant about it I now prefer it to the traditional 5 speed auto in the previous Accords. My only complaint is the sound quality of the stereo. Its mediocre at best.
