Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

V-6 6 SPD w/Nav stands alone - 2006 Honda Accord
By Steven W. - July 18 - 4:40 amThe V-6 6-Speed Coupe with Navigation stands alone in the Accords in terms of performance, appearance, and fun. You will love rowing the gears in this car as it zips from 0-60 in a slim 5.9 seconds. Stange price range though. For the same price you can get into a number of "luxury"-brand cars but with far less features (such as the voice activated nav). It is also competing with cars like the Nissan Altima 3.5. The Altima, however, does not offer a V6 6-Speed with Nav. They offer a V6 with Nav. They offer a V6 with a 6- Speed. But they do not offer a V6 6- Speed with Nav. How silly is that? The Accord also blows the Nissan away in terms of build quality.

Great Car - 2003 Honda Accord
By Nice Car - July 17 - 4:30 pm6 disc CD player very attractive, nice interior design/layout, love steering wheel audio controls, very quite engine (almost too quite), heated seats are very nice in a state with crappy winters, love headlights and front end, the rear end looks strange but a new 2007 update is on the way. Roomy interior. Some whine about the moonroof buttons awkward location but put it this way: the driver doesnt have to move their left arm much at all. Only problem areas were CD player jammed at 44000 and the transmission slipped and refused to go more than 30 mph at 38000, but that was a new transmission design, and all the above was covered by honda, with free loner car

Best thing I could have bought! - 1997 Honda Accord
By pastrypuff - July 16 - 9:27 pmI love this car! I got it 9 years old, but she still drives like a dream! At the 156,000 mile mark this car is still quiet and reliable. The gas mileage is still great, Ive had to only do little things to it. I would recomend this car to any one!

2004 LX sedan and why I chose it - 2004 Honda Accord
By civic_cx_92 - July 15 - 2:00 amI wanted a sports sedan and thought of getting a Mazda 3s sedan, but after pricing it with the options I wanted and not getting price breaks... I bought a 04 Honda Accord LX sedan with 5MT. $18,500 including destination, financed 48 months at 2.9%. 26 MPG in the city and 34 MPG in the highway. 17.1 gallon fuel tank lets me zoom-zoom by gas stations. The 2.4 i-VTEC motor is under rated, 0- 60 in mid 7 seconds and 1/4 around high 15s. Will run with Focus SVT, Civic Si, Tiburon GT V6, SE-R Spec V, and 3s...after the break in period. No buyers remorse, you can have a high quality life with a Honda.

Dont believe the hype - 2004 Honda Accord
By jumpnjoe - July 15 - 2:00 amEveryone says the Accord is a bland automobile because there are so many on the road. Take it for a spin and youll change your mind. Its fast, responsive and smooth. Its fun to drive, the interior is very nice. The exterior is a matter of taste. I think it will age better than many of the trendy designs which is important for a car that I plan on keeping for a while.

Hondas Homerun - 2008 Honda Accord
By PharmD - July 14 - 6:56 amStyling in and out is fantastic, and the v-6 performance is all one would hope for and more. Can get close to epa with cruise on highway. Handles brilliantly on all surfaces without any complaints. Had to emergency pass on freeway, went from 65 to 90 in a flash with superior handling without as much as a shake or rattle.
