Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Nice upgrade! - 2013 Honda Accord

Owned a 2009 Camry and was extremely happy with the car. Drove it 200 miles to and from work daily without a flaw. Car had 178,000 miles and drove like new. Decided to trade in search of better MPG. considered the 2013 Nissan Altima, Ford fusion & Toyota Camry. Glanced at the Kia and Hyundai but just cant get passed the silly looking logo on both korean vehicles. Bottom line, the honda Accord comes with more standard features than all mentioned for about the same price. The Accord handles a bit sportier than the Camry and is not as plush but way out performs the Camry in handling. Only small complaint is a bit of wind and road noise which was similar to the Camry a coworker of mine ownes.

  • 2 FAST - 2006 Honda Accord

Its fun. Its fast. It almost drives its self. Shifting is effortless. It can do 80mph at 2,500 RPM. Probably the best car I have ever owned.

  • Reliable and Efficient - 2007 Honda Accord

Previous owner of a 98 EX coupe with 183K trouble-free miles. I hated to sell it, but I needed 2 extra doors. The 07 fits like a glove, handles crisp and tight, and gets great gas mileage. Had to get used to a couple of things from my old Honda like the absence of the change drawer on the left, but theres one in the center in front of the shifter. The radio controls are a little more complex, but having basic volume and channel buttons on the steering wheel are great. An overall well-rounded and well-balanced car. Best of all, no more timing belt! (I think the timing chain was introduced in 03) With the suggested improvements listed below, this car would have no rival. Coming in 08?!

  • Awesome Accord! - 2004 Honda Accord

This is my favorite car yet! We have owned a few Accords over the years, any this 04 is by far the best. It is sooo quiet, powerful, confident, efficient, and high-tech. I absolutely love the Navigation system and how intuitive it is with the steering wheel and voice commands. We got 30.1 actual MPG on our first 300 miles (2/3 highway). I plan to keep this car forever, which is a great feeling!

  • Reliable - 2002 Honda Accord

At 110K and going strong. The car is reliable. I have replaced brakes - front (1) and rear (2), and tires. I have come to expect reliability in vehicles and have not been disappointed in any I have owned. This is no exception.

  • Loved this car 250k miles - 2007 Honda Accord

I loved this car and put 250k miles on it without major repairs before I totaled it. :(

  • So far, so good - 2008 Honda Accord

Seems to be more roomier than a cambry, but not as sharp looking. Rides with comfort and motor will pick up if you need it. I purchased this vehicle with a lot of research comparing. We got 32 mpg on the highway the next day after we purchase it. It has enough room for me, my wife and my 18 year old son to go on a short trip. I am 6 foot, 225 lbs and I rode in the back seat some and had enough room. I hope I can get a few more mpg after the car breaks in some. The only for sure complaint I have is the seats seems to hurt my back after I drove for a period of time, this may be because I am use to my silverado truck with leather bucket seats. A big person may want to think of this when shopping.

  • Another great Honda - 2002 Honda Accord

Loved my 97 Civic so much I bought my wife an 02 Accord EX. Fun to drive, roomy interior, huge trunk. Plenty of features, as usual on EXs. Realiability has been great so far, but its only got 3900 miles. Transmission shifts perfectly smooth, doors shut with that great vault "thud". The dealer we bought from, South Tacoma Honda, in Tacoma, WA, has a great internet sales program - NO ONE else in the area would even match their FIRST offer via email - I didnt believe it, so I wasted 3 days trying to shop their offer around before I finally bought from them.

This is a wonderful car. I have enjoyed owning it very much.

  • A great car. Needless to say I like it! - 2003 Honda Accord
    By -

The accord is a great car. I traded in my 2003 Accord Coupe 4-cyl 5-speed for this one. I like the exterior styling, but the interior is what made me buy the car. The navigation is great and easy to use. The Bucket Leather seats feel good and provide back support. Voice command is a great feature.
