Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Mr - 2008 Honda Accord
By Rick - August 19 - 11:10 amPower seats are not fully adjustable. Shift hold control is a joke. 6-4-3 eco engine has poor performance and gas mileage of 22 highway. Not enough legroom for drivers over 6 ft. Front seats are too narrow and not deep enough. Radio has poor design... Too many buttons. Wrote Honda and complained about seat... They laughed. Will not buy another Honda.

Great Car - Much Better Mileage - 2005 Honda Accord
By Russ - August 19 - 9:18 amThis car, at 25 mpg city/34mpg highway, is underrated for fuel economy when the majority is highway driving. The cylinder management system, that shuts down 3 cyl. when cruising, is what really saves on fuel. We drive TX-MA-TX each year and have been averaging just short of 40mpg on those two trips and 33 mpg for total average. With 255 hp gas engine, it has plenty of pep.

Absolute Best Car Ive Ever Owned - 1993 Honda Accord
By Ken - August 18 - 12:15 pmBuy one. Watch for external rust, but other than that, it will be the best car you can have. Love this particular body style. Solid, solid, solid.

Bullet proof reliability - 2002 Honda Accord
By Robert407 - August 18 - 11:13 amA 5-speed that almost shifts itself. Smooth is the word. Handles well, but 16" performance tires should be an option.

2007 Accord EX-L - Great Car! - 2007 Honda Accord
By Chris - August 17 - 9:53 amI purchased this Accord a little over a month ago. I usually dont write reviews but wanted to tell everybody about what a great car this really is. Where to begin: 1) The seats are incredibly comfortable 2) All the controls are exactly in the right places 3) probably the best navigation system I have ever used 4)Smooth and quiet ride 5) 4 cyl provides more than enough power - unless you love speed, lol. I test drove the following cars before settling on the Accord: 07 Camry, 07 Mazda6, Ford Fusion, Nissan Maxima, Acura TSX. All those cars were great but there was also something that didnt sit well with me. The Accord fit perfectly. Ive owned many cars and this is my fav!

Great ride, interior problems - 2006 Honda Accord
By Jon - August 16 - 5:03 amPurchased Accord 4 months ago. Beautifully smooth ride. Powerful for a i4, get manual transmission to truly appreciate. Problem with interior fabric quality. Wearing of seats and arm rests apparent after only 1500 miles! Honda will replace under warranty, others have reported same problem with new 2006 fabric. Beyond that car is a dream, smooth, powerful, refined, and perky. Roomy enough for 5 six foot tall adults with no complaints. My girlfriend has a 2006 Camry and loves the sportiness and comfort of my Accord. Camry and Accord are like night and day in terms of ride. Camry is built for pedestrian driving while Accord can really hug the turns and accelerate in traffic.

Just the Best - 2006 Honda Accord
By Bern - August 16 - 3:23 amIt has been 10 years since I owned my last Honda Accord and I wonder why I ever strayed, I felt comfortable the minute I sat in my new Accord. It handles and corners on a dime, it is just so responsive. Ive had 29 miles to the gallon, which I did not expect. Trunk space , leg room, luxurious interior, fabulous resale value. What more can anyone ask?....maybe four wheel drive. Well, cant have everything.

The New Accord Hybrid - 2005 Honda Accord
By Bill Ades - August 16 - 2:10 amI would have preferred to wait a year to let the prices come down a bit and to make sure the new Accord Hybrid would be as good a car as my last Accord (95 wagon, 168k miles). I have had absolutely no reason to regret my purchase. The car is a dream to drive -- tight, responsive handling and ride, real performance (without guilt). I have found no defects in 6 months and over 6,000 miles. The Nav. system is both fun and useful and the sound system is great. The car routinely gets 37 mpg or more at interstate speeds and averages 25 mpg on my 20 mile mixed commute. The transition from economy mode (3 cylinders) to full power is virtually undetectible. I love my new Accord!

honda acord - 2005 Honda Accord
By Lewannmick - August 16 - 12:40 amroad noise level to high. suspension does not absorb road variations. Noisey over small bumps and seams in the road. Can not even crack the windows open in the rain without getting water all over the door panel and yourself
