Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

One Great Car - 2004 Honda Accord
By treasman - August 27 - 2:00 amIt is like driving a luxury vehicle for a moderate price. Not one problem since I drove the vehicle off the lot 8 months ago.

Great Car - 2002 Honda Accord
By 02SEfan - August 27 - 2:00 amI bought this car used with 32K miles on it. Sold my 97 Accord to get it. Have not had any problems with it. It is much better than the 97 Accord. The interior is a lot roomier, the exterior is much more stylish, and the engine has a lot more get up and go. The gas mileage around town is OK at 19 MPG. I plan on keeping this car for a long time. Highly receommend it.

You wont be sorry - 2001 Honda Accord
By summerheat - August 27 - 2:00 amI needed a vehicle to offset our Suburbans enormous thirst for fuel but one that would also work for carrying around the kids and fill in on cross country trips. I also didnt want to pay a premium new or used car price. In enters the perfect vehicle for the chore. My only problem has been not bypassing my exits as I am really enjoying its comforts and convenience. Thanks Honda.

As Expected - 2005 Honda Accord
By Accordingly - August 27 - 12:03 amMy 4th Honda and 1st Accord. Not having too much success w/ my previous purchases (especially the unreliable 01 Civic EX) I decided to give the Accord a try. Overall its a very good car. After driving it 3k miles, I find the car to not excel in any one area, but neither are their any deficiencies. Its quiet, comfortable, safe, peppy, attractive, with great gas mileage for a 3,500 pound car. The brakes are mediocare at best (and far TOO sensitive...they grab abruptly at low speeds, at times so hard causing the seat belts to lock). Other than that Im pleased with my purchase.

Pleasant Surprise - 2008 Honda Accord
By HK - August 26 - 8:40 pmIve owned two Camrys and two Avalons and all were great cars. Never considered an Accord because they were smaller. However, 2008 Accord is bigger so I took a look. After a test drive, I was sold. The car is very comfortable, the steering is tight and precise. Similar to what youd find in a higher priced sports sedan. The navigation system and bluetooth are great and easy to use. Between the AM-FM and XM radio, the 6 disc changer and MP3 plug- in, I have "entertainment overload". On top of this, Im averaging 34 mpg highway. The only complaint is that there is a pronounced road noise on rough roads. Overall, best car ever. If youre thinking of buying one, just do it.

Loved it! - 1992 Honda Accord
By nutty-1 - August 26 - 10:00 amMy 1992 Accord was my second Honda. I had traded my CRX for it. I absolutely loved this car! It was totalled w/100M miles on it and still looked sharp. I got a 1998 to replace it and to this day, when I see a 1992 (or that body style) I wish I had it back. Dont get me wrong, my 1998 is a great, quality car but I never held the same affection for it. The 98 seems to have a noisy engine and air conditioning and I personally did not like the body style as much.

Hondas Rule! - 1998 Honda Accord
By nutty-1 - August 26 - 10:00 amI bought my 98 Accord after my 92 with 100M miles was totalled (also had a 87 CRX which I traded for my first Accord). It really didnt feel like the same quality from the start (i.e. noisy engine, air conditioner) but it is still super reliable, quality transportation. Became a bit small with two children and car seats but Im fearful whatever I get to replace it will never measure up.

A Great Choice! - 2017 Honda Accord
By Brian - August 25 - 2:31 amNot a lot of acceleration, but great ride, and a comfortable interior. The passenger side leg room is a little shy. Interior materials are very nice and should hold up very well. Several areas of shiny finishes will need regular cleaning to keep smudges down. Combination cloth an faux leather seats with faux leather steering wheel, gear shift and center console cover. Very little storage space in the interior. The center console does not hold my wifes wallet. No satellite entertainment an no USB ports that Ive found. CVT can feel boring for acceleration at the low end, especially in economy mode. May need to keep in sport mode for better feel, but less gas mileage. Rear camera give a nice panorama, approx 160 degrees. A very nice car for the price. And expect it to be very reliable.

Sound Buy - 2005 Honda Accord
By Dean - August 24 - 12:43 amThis is the third Honda Accord I have owned. I find the car to be very well built and reliable. Perhaps the auto could be a little higher off the ground to enable more view. Also I feel the head lights should have a sensor and please put heated seats in the rear.

Love this car - 2009 Honda Accord
By BMC - August 23 - 7:40 amI tested a lot of cars before I drove this one on a whim. I LOVE THIS CAR!!! It has great styling and awesome handling. I have the 6-speed manual and there is always plenty of power no matter what gear you are in. The car flies and is rock steady no matter what the speed. Everything seems well thought out. I am usually someone who gets a new car every 3 years, I have a feeling this one is a keeper.
