Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Cant say enough - 1995 Honda Accord
By sdrawkcab - August 28 - 2:59 pmAbsolutely stellar. I beat up this car, throwing everything I could at it with minimal maintenence and she took it like a champ. Most solid road feel of any car Ive ever driven along with an engine that just purrs after every oil change. Enough cargo space to rival most pickups, with 25+ mpg to boot. I could squeeze 30 mpg on long roadtrips. Perfect for a nomadic college kid. The bad: Apparently an 11 year old, beat up, tan station wagon approaching 200k is too tempting of a target for car theives. So goodbye, wagon.

Highly recommended - 2000 Honda Accord
By patrickc2004 - August 28 - 10:00 amThis is my second newer Accord EX V-6 (first was a 98) and I love this car! Quality in and out- heavy doors and seals keep road noise to a minimum, large trunk, comfortable seats, quick acceleration with good gas milage make this car a blast to drive.

Cant buy more car for the money - 2003 Honda Accord
By qclimer - August 28 - 10:00 amI buy a new car every 2 years. I drive the tires off them and get rid of them at about 85k miles (2 years). I switched to Honda in 2003 and could not be happier. The car has no rattles, excellent interior, supportive seats, great GPS, and excellent performance/mileage. I average 28 mpg in city/hwy and I dont drive slow. This engine and 5 speed auto transmission are so smooth and even downshifts under hard braking for a power on corner exit. Surprising a 3 series or 530 BMW is a flick of the ankle away. I would recommend this car to anyone.

Worst car Ive ever owned - 2002 Honda Accord
By ericnaz1 - August 28 - 10:00 am21 days in the shop so far for repairs including transmission leak, rough engine idle requiring a valve adjustment and replacement of all mounts. Engine problem still not fixed and Hondas answer to the problem is to deny that it exists. Other repairs include the seat frame which was defective and rocked, major rattles requiring replacement of multiple parts and lots of foam tape and epoxy to fix, fuel gauge failed, A/c fan relay clicks constantly but never when at a Honda dealer so Im told I have to live with it, Brakes squeal since day one. Interior panel warp and distort, arrived damages and just plain fall off

I love my Honda Accord - 2004 Honda Accord
By maetera - August 28 - 10:00 amI had a Honda Civic for the past ten years and needed to upgrade to a larger car. I did not hesitate to buy the Accord; I did not even consider another car seriously. I have only had it a couple weeks but it is living up to, and surpassing, all my expectations.

Happy Camper - 2004 Honda Accord
By SUVGONE - August 28 - 10:00 amPros: The Dodge Durango is gone, which means I am at the gas pump a lot less. The LX is a lot of car for the price. I have a 40-minute commute (one way), and the LX is a nice way to pass the time. Con: Only one choice of interior color: Ivory.

The way I see it. - 2004 Honda Accord
By Huggable #1 - August 28 - 10:00 amVery nice riding vehicle. Interior in the LX is a little sparse. It could have a few more asthetic items, but it is quite comfortable. The instruments are user friendly and laid out well. I am somewhat disappointed in the fuel economy. The car has adequate power in most driving situations. The transmission shifts very smoothly. I would like to be able to pull the selector from P right into Drive without having to end up in D3. This should be because in most driving situations D is where you want to be. If this car holds up as well as my 1989 Honda DX with almost 200,000 miles and still going strong Ill be happy.

Honda Happiness - 2004 Honda Accord
By ebrooks - August 28 - 10:00 amI drove a used 1996 Civic DX for awhile (no frills at all, not even power steering!) before I decided to buy a new Accord. I owned a 1993 and 1998 Toyota Camry and was very satisfied with both (with V6 engines; the 93 was better than the 98). Ive moved down to a 4 cylinder, but youd never know it with the power and pickup I have! A terrific car -- comfortable, reliable, and sleek. Ive recommended Hondas to my friends and family, and they are as pleased as I am. The Camry is a bigger car, but I dont need that much room and I am doing better with fuel economy. The price was better too. BUY ONE NOW!

Review of a 2004 Honda Accord with Nav - 2004 Honda Accord
By Manoj Krishnan - August 28 - 10:00 amTHe 2004 Accord is a really fun car to drive.I have been driving mine for the last 5 months.Great acceleration, Smooth ride and good braking.Very quiet and comfortable interior.Very easy access of the control knobs.Voice control is really a plus.I dont know why a tape player was not included with the audio system. Audio system as a whole is not that great.A much powerful audio system was expected in a car like this.It has a lot of trunk space. My 2.4 L engine gives me a quiet and smooth ride. All the dip sticks are well accessible and marked. In a nut shell , this car is a best buy.
