Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Great Steal for low money - 2002 Honda Accord

For clearance and way under sticker this car is great. Just bought for $5000 under sticker, because of the pending 2003 design change. Great pick up, interior confortability, as if your floating on clouds. Cant beat for the low price and dependability.

  • Damaged goods - 2006 Honda Accord

Car was damaged when I purchased it from the dealer. It started showing signs of rust on the passenger door just behind the hinges. Dealer said he was aware of the problem when I purchased the certified used car, The car was only 2 months old when I bought the car. I contacted Honda and they stated that it was not their problem.

  • great car - 2008 Honda Accord

I got the dark blue Accord with simonize paint and interior. The gas mileage is about 45 to the gallon going on the highway with cruise at about 800 or 900 RPM and about 38 going 70. Gas is over $4 a gallon in CT now! Wheels are nice, design seems like a copy from the Camry th Lexus IS the BMW 5 series the Hyundai Sonata and Hyundai Azera in the front with those sporty lights. Camry is a joke compared to this car. A dealer offered us a Camry base model for $14,999 new and the accord was about $20,500. Accord shakes less. brother in law has one, and hates it

  • Great looking car but very poor ride comfort - 2017 Honda Accord
    By -

I bought the car in May with great price. The leather seat was great compared with cloth seat. The styling seemed to be more sporty than previous year model. Handling is great. However the ride comfort was not good. It was very stiff compared with my sons 2014 Sport model. I was told that because of the 19" wheel and the tires. In order to make the ride a little bit soft, I was told to lower the tire pressure and it is a little bit better but not perfect. I was told to down size the wheel to 17" or 18" and a bigger side wall types of tires. I wish I had known this before my purchase. I should have bought the LX or the EX version. Road or wind noise is louder than previous models. Overall the car is great.

  • Driver seat stinks - 2009 Honda Accord

Everything is great except for the driver seat. Very uncomfortable. I hate how many reviewers wrote the same comments but STILL recommend buying it. I wouldnt EVER buy a Honda again. The seat is a killer on my back.

  • Great Honda Except The Transmission - 2001 Honda Accord
    By -

I purchased Accord LX 4dr V6 brand new back in Nov 00 as a 01 model. The v6 engine is so smooth you wont even notice unless you press the gas pedal hard to the floor, then the muffler resonates. Available supercharger upgrades by Comptech makes the car even more fun. I am putting a lil over 75,000 Mi by now (Sept 06). Thus far no problem with the car except the transmission kinda hunting when I press the pedal hard to the floor.I am planning to keep the car for another 5 yrs since I love it plus all the memories Ive had with the car so I will add comptech supercharger to upgrade the power. Probably gotta check the transmission too. Maybe need an overhaul. I am getting 21-24mpg combined.

  • Get the best ! - 2006 Honda Accord

We did extensive research (and test drives) prior to buying our Accord EX. Moving from a F-150 Supercrew (3 of them over last 8 years) to a car is a big adjustment. Given the prospect of $3/gl gas again this is a no brainer and we knew we had to do something. This is our 2nd Accord and we forgot how much fun they are! The 4cyl engine is extremely peppy and the cabin is super quiet. Ergonomics are great and the build quality is very nice. If youre looking for a mid-size sedan the Accord should definitely be on your short list. Yes, everyone has one... but ask yourself why. Just look at the reviews and youll know. BTW, would recommend Milan V-6 as a strong 2nd choice!

A good family car with no problems. It has now 68000 miles.

  • Sporty + Practical + Reliable Sedan A+++ - 2004 Honda Accord
    By -

Very sporty and at the same time it is a practical sedan. 240 HP is good enough to blast this thing 0- 60 in 6.5s. TSC, ABS, 8 Airbags, 6 CD all came standard. I just love it and did i mention gas mileage. 25/30 MPG is what I get and its far better than many rivals especially Germans in this class !!! I loved its ABS & TCS cause it has saved me a couple of times from some ruthless physical forces ...... !!!
