Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

  • Amazing - 2000 Honda Accord

I have to say that I used to be a toyota driver. I discovered Honda about 5 years ago when I bought my first Civic. Now I own a new Civic and an Accord. It truly is the Best riding car around and it runs like a dream. My Civic is just as fun as the first, but now I have even more room! Keep it up Honda! Thank you so much for the quality product you provide for my family.

  • but but but need more leg / head room... - 2004 Honda Accord

I love my car. Its the bomb...but but but... Im uncomfortable in the drivers seat. My heads too close to the ceiling and my legs are too close to the steering wheel. Ive tried to adjust the seat and steering and I just cant find a comfortable position (Im not a tall person either). Granted, I was used to my Odyssey Van... The passenger seat is more comfortable. I think the seat sits closer to the floor (?) I hope I get used to this and it quits being an annoyance... The gas and break are really touch too (just to mention it). The interior design is "sweet!".

  • Accord EX vs 2000 Audi A6 2.7T - 2004 Honda Accord

Of course the Audi handles better and has more power, but thats where the benefits stop. The Accord provides a smooth ride, plenty of power, a VERY comfortable interior, and is a LOT less costly to maintain. You dont have to spend $45,000 on a fancy German car to have fun.

  • I love my Accord V6 w/Nav - 2004 Honda Accord

I love my Accord. Everything from the power, sound system, and navigation system shouts "expensive". The doors feel and sound German good. The service costs are quite inexpensive. I am also happy with the 16 inch wheels because I did not want the harshness that is inherent with larger wheels and tires. I will change the Michelins with something else in about a year since they are a bit loud on some surfaces and not that grippy. They are good but not up to what the Accords suspension can do. Overall... great job Honda. I have owned Hondas since 1987 and I will probably own at least one for many decades to come, even if I were to hit the lottery!

Extremely comfortable drivers seat/driving position. Great acceleration with precise handling.

  • My third Honda - 1998 Honda Accord

I have had 2 Preludes and thought I would upgrade to an Accord. I was much happier with the Preludes. The leather seats in the Accord are so thin and unsupportive. The engine is slow on the uptake, but once you get it out on the interstate that is where it shines. Overall, I wouldnt buy another Accord, maybe if they add cushioning to the seats and make the interior and exterior a little more interesting. It is very reliable, I have had it over three years and no repair bills yet.

  • Great car for the money - 2002 Honda Accord
    By -

This is my first car and Im very happy with my purchase. Other cars with the same level of equipment would have cost me at least $5000 more. The V6 engine is strong and quiet. The manual states that regular unleaded gasoline is needed, unlike other competing cars that require premium. Despite what others say about the bland styling, the car is fun to drive, its a sedan but being a Honda it has a sporty feel to it. Visibility all around is excellent with no blind spots. Fit and finish is good as well.

  • Audio is not great - 2017 Honda Accord

    Sound system is weak

  • 1996 Honda EX six cylinder - 1996 Honda Accord

This is a great car. Gas mileage is good, about 27 mpg at speeds up to 70 mph. Gas mileage declines above 70mph. ~21 mpg climbing Rocky Mtns @80 mph. Gas mileage is 24-26 mpg in city traffic. Handles well on dry road, wet road, and snow covered roads. Ive driven it through Needles California when the outdoor temperature was 120 degrees F with no problems -- air conditioner functioned well and engine coolant temperature remained normal. Interior is comfortable with four adults. Ride quality is good with 1 to 4 people. Fill the car with 4 people and the trunk with luggage then the car feels heavy.

  • Love it - 2000 Honda Accord

Love this car.Optional fog lites look really classy at night. Like agressive sound as you get on it. No tranny problems plus now has 7 years warranty from the factory. So far I have not had any tranny problems. 42K miles. Interior is easily equal to a $35K+ car.On the con side; Seat back edges wearing from entry and exit if you are not careful getting in. Side pillars too wide and block vision. Dont like the door rake, prefer more horizontial as its difficult for short passengers to rest their arm when window is down. Passenger seat too low.Planning on installing 55 series performance tires. The michelins are good and quiet but make for a mushy ride.
