Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

I blow by everyone on the freeway. All my friends envy me. Its so smooth and light on its toes. Very flexible on price, purchased $700 under invoice. Dealer Bob Mattes is awesome.

Best Sedan on Earth - 2005 Honda Accord
By VT - October 31 - 7:10 pmHonda Accord is no doubt the best sedan on earth. When I was looking for a car, I researched several similar sedans and Honda Accord come out as a winner. Camary looks too sloppy, though its a nice car but the new design is way inferior.

Decent car - 1997 Honda Accord
By Ryan - October 30 - 2:19 pmThe accord is overall a decent car, but I think there are better choices for the money. Yes, its a Honda. The engine will run for 250k miles. But thats only if you maintain it properly (not everyone does) and maintaining a Honda is rather expensive. If you buy a Honda with 100k miles on it, be prepared to spend another $1-2k on it right away to keep it going. It will need timing belt, water pump, and suspension replacements. I think people have misconceptions about what Hondas are. Theyre not above normal wear and tear. Beyond this, any Honda built before 1998 has terrible structural rigidity so expect a lot of flex and rattling. Interior doesnt hold up all that well either.

Awesome Vehicle! - 2008 Honda Accord
By NAVI - October 28 - 11:16 pmMy last three vehicles were purchased brand new and this was my first Honda and definitely will not be my last! Wow, what a car! I have the 2.4l engine and find it has plenty of speed for me. The car handles great, is a blast to drive, and is getting the gas mileage as advertised. The interior is appealing and the exterior is total eye candy! I love my 08 Accord Coupe!

Hondas - 2003 Honda Accord
By EdmundsAlex - October 27 - 10:00 amThe only problem i have with my honda is occasional long ignitions.......... I have 500km on my odometer right now..... that is like 300 miles and im having this problem wtf. The brake also screech and sometime i feel its not even there! I had to brake HARD. There is a sound in the driver side door also, annoying as hell..... The car is also very hot because i use to drive a 1.6EL and i park it in the garage and i never feel the air in the garage hhot, but this accord you can feel the heat!

I love my Accord! - 2003 Honda Accord
By negrantma - October 27 - 10:00 amI come from a long line of Acura/Honda owners and this vehicle is the best I have seen. The wonderfully re-designed body lends interest while the luxurious interior draws you in. The powerful engine makes driving a pleasure -- I cannot recommend this car enough!

The new Accord is the best yet by far! - 2003 Honda Accord
By bn2002bn - October 27 - 10:00 amThe 2003 Accord EX is my 3rd Honda Accord EX in a row that Ive owned and its the best one yet by far. The resale value of my 95 Accord EX was so high it was almost unbelivable. That was a factor in purchasing the new Accord. The build quality and level of refinement are excellent. I had looked at the Camry too when I bought this car but chose the Accord hands down. Beyond the Camrys Buick-like styling..in my opinion of course..and the significantly lower resale value of Camrys, the handling and the ride of the Camry(XLE and SE)just didnt compare to the Accord. The 2003 Accord EX is a great car!
