Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

The exact car I wanted! - 2016 Honda Accord
By Wally P - November 18 - 4:04 amThis is my 5th product by Honda. I had Transmission problems with 2 of them. One was covered under a recall, and the recent one was covered under the 60K powertrain warranty. This is my first V6 manual by Honda and I have to say it is very powerful. It does get away from you at times because it is front wheel drive, but it’s cool once you get the hang of it. The interior is very nice I lover the perforated leather seats. As for the exterior, I love the updated tail lights, daytime running lights and foggers. I wish I had the LED headlights though. Everyone compliments me on the rims. I wish there was more exterior distinction between the 4cyl and the V6 though. I love the throaty sound of the engine while shifting gears (it can get load inside at about 4 rpm’s though). All the tech is new for me and I love it… I wish it offered the DVD playback and the steel looking pedals. Overall I LOVE the car. I’d give it 4.5 out of 5 stars.

Great Car + (Mileage Tip) - 2008 Honda Accord
By Tom - November 18 - 1:26 amReally nice car to drive. My second Accord , and very happy with it. I was a bit disappointed with the 4 Cyl mileage as I drive over a 100 miles a day round trip to work. I did find something very interesting: On the EX- L Navi the vehicle comes with "Auto- Climate Control" and the air conditioning compressor cycles all the time; winter or summer. There seems to be no way to shut it off and mileage is about 26/27 highway. It can be shut- off in cold or cool weather with the voice command "air conditioning off". Mileage jumps on the highway to 31/32 at normal speeds. MUCH BETTER!!! In the summer turn it back on with "air- conditioning on" Other than that - very nice car and great build quality.

Dramatic change for the good - 2005 Honda Accord
By Dr. Alan S. Altman - November 16 - 4:36 amMore solidly built, more rugged, larger, more confortable, and better performance than any other Accord and Camry that I have ever owned or driven in. Will buy no other brand in the future. Have driven since 1960!!! The new (American) Accord is a luxury car that provides the greatest value for the dollar on the highway.....PERIOD!!!!

Blues car:( ~~you were so good to me~~ - 1996 Honda Accord
By blueskeye - November 14 - 7:42 pmI just cant say enough about the Honda. From the day I bought it, until last week, Nov2nd,06,(265k mi) it was sooo good to me, fun to drive, got me back and forth comfortably to work, and back and forth on many trips to Florida:) and other places, dependably, safely...where is it now? at the collision shop, the rear bumper & trunk smashed in while I and GF were at a complete stop, the 2007 Audi SUV plowed into the back of it, at approx 35 mph, he didnt even brake! We were only minorly hurt (I hope, not all the test results are back yet), the unibody design, and the correct crumple zones did what they were supposed to do. the Adjuster considered it "A Total Loss"...I say it is NOT a total loss

Whats the big deal? - 2005 Honda Accord
By Don Johnson - November 14 - 2:30 pmI cant believe I bought this thing. Its rather bland styling turns me off, I feel like I was sold a bill of goods... It seems very reliable, but once Ive driven it for roughly 1,500 miles, I wish Id have not completed this purchase. You guys rate the seats a maximum score on comfort...my rear tells me different. The outside is bland...plain, boring. I still cant believe I listened to my salesman. Kudos to him, he SOLD me.

Another great Honda Accord story - 1995 Honda Accord
By Darren - November 14 - 9:55 amPurchased this car used to be second car and save on gas from SUV. Third Accord of this style generation. Although this car required more repairs then my others, its still a great running and looking car. Fuel economy is always very impressive. Great ergonomics, quality craftsmanship and materials, fun 5 speed manual, good handling and ride combo. Super dependable with decent maintenance.

Solid family sedan with a great V6 - 2016 Honda Accord
By Deems - November 14 - 8:29 amIf you like to drive and want a solid family sedan with a powerful engine that sounds great, the Accord V6 is a good choice. After owning a BMW 3 series for 8 years, it was hard to adjust to this car. It felt too big and too soft. But as Ive gotten to know this car, it drives much smaller than it is, it rides great, its quiet on most roads and the V6 loves to rev. It does its job very well without making a fuss. This car is like a good friend. The better you know it, the more you like it. I enjoy driving it so much that I make up excuses to run errands. And it gets amazing gas mileage on the highway given its size and power. Add great reliability to all of that and Ive got a winner. It doesnt drive as well or feel as good as the best German sedans, but for the money, you cant beat it. Ive concluded that if you are an enthusiast that can afford the best German sedans, they might be worth the premium, especially if you lease them and get the advantages without the disadvantages (long term maintenance and repair costs). But for most enthusiasts with limited means, buying an Accord and spending a a few grand more for that great V6 is a winning proposition.

Nice Ride 09 LX auto - 2009 Honda Accord
By Gman - November 14 - 5:20 amI have 250,000 miles on my 1994 Honda accord. I bought a new silver 4dr 2009 LX in Feb 09, So far Im pretty happy with the car. I have taken a couple of long trips and there are no issues with the seats to me. The AC is ICE cold and the 4 cyl has enough power for my use. The down side is the cheap plastic doors and dash material, lights flicker at night and the loud road noise. But for under 20Gs Im very happy with the buy.

Road noise - 2006 Honda Accord
By johnnywalker - November 13 - 2:13 amGreat car, easy to use navigation, more comfortable seats than my CTS cad. Handles well, corners well. The only gripe at all is road noise. Its been undercoated twice, but road noise is more than todays modern cars should have. I know that Honda, with all their technology, should be able to make this car quieter.

4 cylinder i-vtec Accord (Leather) - 2005 Honda Accord
By scooter - November 12 - 9:10 pmAfter the first 500 miles I noticed a squeak in the dashboard. Im now at 1500 miles and the noise has ceased for about 450 miles. The only other negative thing with the 4 cylinder is its slightly (and I mean slightly) rough warming up in the morning. After its warm though its silky smooth. There was the Nissan Maximas 6 cylinders tradeoff for the 4 cylinder Accord.(We all know Gas Prices are outrageous). But so far Im very pleased.
