Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Bluetooth fail! Have to pair/forget everytime. - 2016 Honda Accord
By Gordon Walker - December 10 - 7:17 pmMy wife and I leased a 2016 Pilot and a 2016 Accord. His and hers was the thought. Think again! Both cars show as the same Bluetooth device for both Android and Apple / iOS. Literally have to delete and repair everytime I switch cars. Not only a pain to do every day, but effectively means I cant use speed dial or texting, as every setting gets reset everytime. Major oversight by Honda, and no solutions to date.

10 Years Old - 1997 Honda Accord
By Kolbow - December 10 - 4:08 pmThis car has been great to drive. Having a manual transmission makes it more fun to drive. I hate to give this up. I hope I can get one more winter out of it.

Good car. - 2000 Honda Accord
By Car Lover - December 10 - 12:22 pmThis car is proclaimed as the best, however, I bought it used with 110,000 miles in July 2006. I expected it to be excellent and it is. The only problem is that everybody has it. It may look good, but I think that with few modifications such as the wheels off of the V6, and a spoiler, then this car will be great.

Black Honda Coupe - 2009 Honda Accord
By dmull - December 9 - 5:50 pmWhat can I say, its a Honda. This is my 7th Honda in 20 years. The unique thing about a Honda is when you get inside and close the door, you hear and feel a solid contact. This is true in all new cars. The unique aspect of a Honda is that it will still sound that way in 10-15 years later. They are just built solid.

I love my car!!!! - 2003 Honda Accord
By Tess1979 - December 8 - 10:00 amMy first and second cars were both Ford Mustangs first a 6cyl then a GT. I initially wanted a lower car payment and I liked the Honda Accord. So I tool a look. This car is fantastic! I love the get up and go... I dont miss the GT much at all. Back seat room is great for a 2 door. It is super quiet and peppy for a 4 cyl. I love Hondas now after always been exposed to American cars all my life, I can tell you I will never go back. Hondas are built to last. I love the quietness of this car.

Real world - 2008 Honda Accord
By frustratedriver - December 7 - 3:26 pmgood car ...horrible headlights...put the air on and watch the headlights flicker...honda refuses to fix it says its normal..do not buy this car if you drive ar night...if you must buy it make sure you take a test drive at night with the air on..get out and watch the exterior lights...only happens on the 4 cylnder accords..also horrible gas mileage..18-19 around town..whatever you do dont open both rear windows doing 70 mph..you will think the roof is going to blow off..if you drive in snow be advised it piles up on the drivers side windshield in the groove honda put there.

2008 Accord Good, Could Be Even Better - 2008 Honda Accord
By Jon Isenberg - December 6 - 8:40 amThe 2008 Honda Accord is my first foreign car as it was the only fuel- efficient and powerful 4 cylinder in a family-sized mid size sedan which made overall sense. It has attention grabbing styling from most angles and is yet still a fairly modest car! The front driver seats lumbar support seemed very uncomfortable at first. The dashboard angles out to much at the perimeter and "invites" you to bump your leg or knee when entering or exiting in a trade off between style and practicality. Perhaps even more annoying is the side windows curve inward too much in accommodating a narrower roof line resulting rain pouring into the vehicle unless are windows virtually shut.

great rebound - 2005 Honda Accord
By accorddriver - December 6 - 1:14 amThis car is amazing. Honda did it right with the EX-L coupes. This car has great performance and great comforts. The 6 disc cd changer with xm radio built in sounds amazing. The styling makes it aggressive looking. My last car was a lemon of a Jeep and this car is the total opposite being very reliable, amazing gas mileage for me 26/34.

Best front wheel drive Sedan - 1994 Honda Accord
By Alex - December 5 - 7:05 pmSo far Ive owned this car for over 3 years, and still have no major problems. I guess its because i owned a troublesome 99 Ford Contour before this... good riddance! The Accord was number one in the FWD sedan category back in the days and can still be if modified correctly. Even though the stock engine makes almost no power, i managed to swap it with a 200hp DOHC prelude engine with a 5 speed, added a better sport-tuned suspension, upgraded brakes, and still didnt manage to break my bank account. Compared to the flabby ride it once was (still a lot better than other sedans back in its days) its now a quick, maneuverable sports sedan! Theres tons of after-market support for this car!
