Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Love my Accord - 2005 Honda Accord
By BCV - December 26 - 11:50 amI have the Accord Coupe EX-L with 4 cyl, all the bells and whistles. I have bought more than a few new cars over the years. This is the first vehicle that I have had that has not had ONE problem requiring dealership attention. Brought it in for its 15K check up and that has been it. The 4 cyl is very powerful, smooth, very economic and the 5 spd manual a breeze to shift. I love the exterior and interior styling, though I know some do not. Just wish they sold their European award winning diesel engine in Canada (in the Coupe of course).

Honda Driver For Life - 2007 Honda Accord
By Jami - December 26 - 8:03 amIve had Hondas my whole life - from 16 until now (34). This Accord is a beautiful car and incredibily comfortable. Weve driven it from Houston to Phoenix, to OKC, and back again and havent complained once. It rides so smoothly I have to really keep an eye on my speed.

Excellent Value - 2007 Honda Accord
By Brian - December 26 - 2:46 amI now have 15000 miles on car. Superb body structure and build quality. Paint quality amazing for production vehicle. Quiet, comfortable, reliable. Excellent fuel economy for its size: 29 mpg. avg. I drove Camry, Fusion, Aura...Sportier than Camry, Much better build quality and interior design than either Fusion or Aura. Reliabilty should be top notch: I have 220000 miles on 1991 Accord that I still own.

My first Honda....definitely NOT my last - 2017 Honda Accord
By Steve Rodman - December 25 - 2:55 pmI never owned a Honda auto until last month. The car is everything and more than the great reviews from my friends who have a Honda. The auto press is absolutely correct in their rave reviews of this car.

Great Car- Great Features - Great MPG - 2013 Honda Accord
By exosp123 - December 24 - 4:00 pmThis is my 1st Honda. I traded a Cadillac STS on a 13 EX-L and couldnt be more satisfied. On my 1st tank, (395 miles with 121 miles before emty), I average 29.1 on the dash display, and on the actual fuel use (395.7 mi div by 12.27 gal) I got 32.24 MPG. Great for the 1st tank on about 80/20 % Highway / City. At 60 MPH on a flat road, the RPM is 1700 and shows 40 MPG on the dash. Im still finding out features this car has and there are many.. Dont lose your owners manual, as most require various steps to control. The 3 cameras are my favorite but it goes on and on. The radio is equal to the Bose in my old car. Its unfortunate other owners on here are not getting my results.

Hybrid w/ real ooooph - very pleased - 2006 Honda Accord
By w grant - December 24 - 12:20 pmThis Hybrid is much quicker than I expected - in fact feels like our Acura TL - Type S. Great for passing on too narrow roads. Chicago to Atlanta and return - averaged 38 mpg - w/ average highway speed of about 70 mph Fully recommend this car as is - And its both good for the environment - and in a few years (depending on $ of gas) our bottom line total car cost.

Happy with my purchase - 2009 Honda Accord
By OC - December 23 - 7:36 pmInitially wanted to buy a VW, looked around for one, sent a few e-mails to dealers and got no responses. NONE! I have had a number or far less than great experiences with VW dealers so I decided to look around. Boy, am I ever glad I did! This Honda is awesome, drives great, awesome for the money. If you dont get into this deal expecting a BMW for 20-30k, then youre going to get a fantastic car with great resale value.

Road Noise - 2008 Honda Accord
By Adrian Pineda - December 23 - 4:53 amI love Hondas. The best cars for the money. Only compared to Toyotas, but better Looking. Ive owned two prior Hondas, a 04 Acura TSX, and a 06 Civic Si. As much as I love this brand. I hate to admit that they have loud interiors. My TSX and Si were like that but I attributed this to the low profile tires. I had heard this being an issue with all Honda models, and it is an issue with the current Accord.

Simple Elegance - 2005 Honda Accord
By Dave from Baltimore - December 22 - 10:00 amComfortable, elegant and stylish although younger crowd may want more flash. Easily handles highway driving and makes it enjoyable to drive 70 miles daily. Space is great, including trunk, audio controls on steering wheel are easy to use. Storage is convenient. All around a comfortable car at an excellent price for what is offered. I recommend the Accord. Luxury feeling without luxury cost.

Hwy MPG Overrated for this commuter - 2005 Honda Accord
By SecondHybrid4Me - December 22 - 8:36 amThis is my second Honda hybrid. Took my former Civic to nearly 100k miles in just under three years with few problems. Routine oil changes were more difficult on that version with 0 weight 30 not easy to find and quirky steps mechanics have to know... so far with the Accord, its a snap! My only complaint was the premium sticker price and that the fuel efficiency is nowhere close to that advertised. I am mostly drive on the highway and am averaging closer to 30 than 37. I was sold that the enhancements in hybrid technology were supposed to make this one better for increased hwy mileage than in town. Either way, Im all for hybrids and my experience has been good! Go Green!!
