Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Great car - 2005 Honda Accord
By indyfan - December 30 - 5:53 amI just bought my Honda in June 05. Great car in every way. Ive read where people have been complaining about the rear end looks. The performance of the car totally outweighs the looks of the rear end I dont think the rear is that bad in the first place. Ive seen a million cars that look "as bad" or worse. And to tell you the truth, I have seen spy shots of the future Accord rear end and I think this model is better looking. This car is GREAT. Buy one today.

Great Car But...... - 2004 Honda Accord
By Lawdawgfl - December 30 - 12:26 amI really enjoyed the Accord, the 6 speed was great and the engine pulled hard. I was not happy however with the fit and finish. This is suppose to be a top of the line Honda and the car rattled like an old Buick. When it was cold the dash board made a clicking noise. The door panels always made noise, push on it and it went away. Great car otherwise, it needs a better quality control. While driving one day I heard a POP, it was the black trim piece that goes up the drivers door, it had come apart, easy fix, but it shouldnÂ’t have happened.

5 years old and very few problems... - 2002 Honda Accord
By Mike Sanders - December 29 - 7:10 pmMy 2002 has been a very reliable car. I have the 4-cyl. and it is peppy enough to be fun and safe. I did have the service light come on, twice, because of a fault in the air- bag system. The dealer fixed it both times, under warranty. Also, I had to replace the battery, at around the four year point. Aside from regularly scheduled maintenance, thats it! Ive owned over a dozen cars and Ive never had a more trouble-free experience.

Overall a Great Car - 2009 Honda Accord
By Jack - December 29 - 10:53 amVery good power, great gas mileage, and typical high quality Honda Ive heard so much about. The only major downside to the car is the above average amount of road noise that you hear on the highway. Around town road noise is not an issue. This is our first Honda and will probably not be our last. This Accord is equal or better in some areas than our Lexus ES which we love and was almost $10k less. I now understand why Honda sells so many Accords. I find it far better than the Malibu, Fusion, Passat, and Altima all of which Ive had for long-term rentals for business. I cant say enough about how great the dealer service is.

Beware at the car wash! - 2004 Honda Accord
By Awesome2004Honda - December 28 - 10:00 amThis was the most gorgeous, wonderful, incredible car I ever owned. I got many compliments on it too. It was 2 months old with 3,000 miles on it. A crackhead stole it from the carwash and wrecked it 2 days ago. I am completely heartbroken. I am getting another just like it ASAP. It was the best car ever!

Still an awesome car - 2003 Honda Accord
By AnthonyV - December 28 - 10:00 amAfter a 1 1/2 years and 15000 miles this car is great. Just finished a 3 week vacation to Cali from Colo and had an overall 28MPG (drove the first leg straight through 22 hours to parents in Cali w/31MPG). This is for entire trip of over 3500 miles round trip. This was a trip with the wife, grandma and 2 kids and a trunk full of luggage. Dont know what everyone is talking about with rattles and problems, mine has none. We are quite happy with our purchase ($25000 new w/ 11 miles on it).

WOULDNT HAVE ANYTHING BUT A HONDA! - 2005 Honda Accord
By ally baltz - December 28 - 12:16 amIt is very comfortable and has plenty of room. Has the get up and go when you want it. Great buy for the money and very reliable. I test drove many cars in the same class and nothing compares to it. I give it an A+.

1996 Honda Accord DX Sedan - 1996 Honda Accord
By Duane - December 27 - 9:11 amI bought this car new and it has been the model of reliability. I bought it because my last car, a 1990 Oldsmobile Calais 442, was on its 3rd head gasket and multiple oil leaks after only 80K miles and wanted a car that would stay out of the shop. My Accord has not been in the shop except for maintenance items to be replaced. It is very roomy in the front, ok in the back and overall comfortable on long trips to drive of which I have taken it on many. The performance is acceptable for what it is. I like high performance cars and I would have bought the VTEC or V6 if I had the money at the time but it was not to be. However, it has competent acceleration and handling for a DX family car.
