Model Overview:

Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.

You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Ive had my Accord for 2 weeks now, and I like it a lot. Ive had only one problem with it so far, and the dealer was able to fix it under warranty. I had a loud buzzing noise comming from my drivers door at highway speeds. Turns out that there was a screw loose in the door which required them to take it to apart to fix. After that everything is A - okay. I encourage New accord owners to tell the dealship about any quality issues with your car, the dealer I bought my car from was ready to deal with this issue and did so promtly. They even deatailed my car a filled the tank up for free, for my troubles.

The Accord is kinda boring looking IMHO, both inside and out, but its quality is outstanding, it drives great, the 4 cyl. with auto is VERY responsive and a great performer, and there is no question that the Accords last 150,000 to over 250,000 miles with no problems - and thats what is most important to me.

  • in love with my car - 1995 Honda Accord

OVER 200,000 miles ...this car owes me nothing ... Just add oil/tires/and brakes.....After 150,000 miles i started repairing more than that.. CV- boots, struts, all belts, muffler, radiator, and 2 ball joints. A wonderful car until this year when my mechanic bills started to rise above the actual value of the vehicle. It will still keep kicking for another 100,000 miles guaranteed but i just cannot risk investing more into it as of this point.THIS car has made me feel nothing but good looking in it. Supersporty especially with an open moon roof.As for safety, i feel safer in this vehicle than i do in any SUV or Sedan..the only vehicle i recall feeling this safe in was a ford f250 truck cab with a roll bar

  • Such a great car I had to rate it - 2005 Honda Accord

Coming off a 2002 Accord EX V6, I was quite impressed with the 05 EX V6. I had originally set my sites on an acura TL, but if you can deal with the Accord not driving like a sports car and dont need the crazy stereo of the TL, than the Accord EX is for you. The leather, interior, and performance is all "Acuress". I am very happy with this purchase. Plus its a Honda, I can put 200K on it with out any worries!

So far so good, like it so much!!! One minus point: Mileage is 25/gallen, which is a little lower than what I expected.

  • This car is great - 2001 Honda Accord

This car is awesome. Its my first too. Its a shame is doesnt have quite the sporty look Id like but I got it for a great price and it has everything I want too. The engine is powerful and the gas mileage is incredible. I would recommmend this to everyone.

  • FANTASTIC CAR - 1997 Honda Accord

On my third Honda and second Accord. This one to replace my 87 that never failed me. Manual transmission feels great. Superior styling and comfort. Im keeping this one forever.

  • Refined Design, Materials, and Ride - 2013 Honda Accord
    By -

Best Volkswagen yet. The interior is refined, with a beautiful center gauge that resembles a high-class wristwatch. A backup camera comes standard even in the LX model. The ride is quiet. At low RPM, the engine has a pleasant rumble. Stepping on the gas generates a healthy dose of power. At intermediate RPM, the CVT is a little loud, which can be disconcerting. While steering is electrical, it doesnt feel as numb as a Toyota. This car is actually fun to drive, something unusual for a family sedan.

  • 2006 Accord Coupe V6 Six Speed - 2006 Honda Accord

Unbelievably full featured car. Wonderful torquey motor that pulls from low RPM in any gear. You can either leave it in a high gear and drive like its (almost)an automatic or row through the gears and keep it in the high power band for fun. The car is amazingly quick for a Honda that runs on 87 octane. I can see why VSA is standard equipment because you can get yourself into some serious situations with lift throttle. :o
