Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Ill miss this car! - 1991 Honda Accord
By Gilmore - February 19 - 4:54 pmI bought this car back in 03 from the 2nd owner, the 1st was a honda salesman at the local dealer. My owners manual has his name in it! Hes sold my wifes family many cars over the years. Including the 04 Accord she drives now! I love this car more than any car Ive owned but the fams growing so Ill be upgrading to a newer 4 dr Accord soon. I just felt like telling everyone what a great car this has been for me. Its been very reliable and aside from the rear quarter panel rust, which is par for this model, this 91 still looks great. I wish it had 4 doors! 16 yrs old, and Ill still get about $1000 for it. Whoever buys it could probably put another 50k on it too! Hondas Rule!

Good but a bit much for the money - 2002 Honda Accord
By Dm - February 17 - 7:46 pmGreat car, I love the gas mileage for a V6 and the car is more than comfortable. The standard stereo system is nice and clear at loud volumes. However for the money, I wish I would have shopped around better, its nice but a typical family sedan. Could have gotten something a bit sportier and catchier to the eye.

Great Car! - 2002 Honda Accord
By cjkatc - February 17 - 10:00 amI just bought this Accord and love it!! I love the safety, reliability, and gas mileage. I commute to cover sporting events and needed a good car. The Accord though not flashy gets the job done better than any other midsize I tested. I could not beat the price of 16,000 and 4.75% financing, too good to pass up.

How much do you like vanilla? - 1994 Honda Accord
By proxl - February 17 - 10:00 amBought my 94 DX 4dr. new, now have 74K mi. Reliability good -- would be excellent if it werent for Y2K. That year, the door handle broke off on an icy day; the starter quit; and oil seal leak nearly killed it forever. Honda recalled for that problem in 2001, but it took American Honda about 8 months to reimburse me for my repair. Reasonably comfortable, good mileage. Too reliable, though. Its so deadly dull that Id love to trade it in for something that doesnt scream "Daddy car!", but I cant justify a new car payment when this will probably last another 100K.

a superb automobile - 2001 Honda Accord
By john szewczuk - February 17 - 6:44 amThis car has performed flawlessly for all 67,000 miles. The only maintenance I have performed on it is factory suggested oil changes, tune ups, and a brake job. And at 67,000 miles this car has the ride of a new car!

It was my first car and i would recommend it to anyone looking for a good reliable car, with great gas mileage and good power for a four cylinder car.

NO MORE HONDAS - 1998 Honda Accord
By Charles Timmons - February 15 - 10:00 amWhere do I start? I bought the car with 34K miles on it. THANK GOD I bought a 100K mile warranty! I bought the car b/c Im in outside sales and drive a lot and need a reliable car. Ive had numerous recalls, new transmission at 95K miles, new power steering pump, altanator, cateletic converter, and the list goes on. Im car shopping now b/c I CANNOT spend anymore money or camp out at the dealership. DO NOT buy one without a 100K mile warranty to help with repairs.
