Overview & Reviews
Few vehicles from overseas manufacturers have garnered as much respect in North America as the Honda Accord. It hasn't achieved this status by being glamorous, sexy or thrilling. Instead, Honda just seems to have its finger on the pulse of what Americans value most. Take an Accord for a spin and you'll find it to be comfortable, roomy, intelligently engineered and easy to drive. It's also backed by strong resale value and a solid reputation for reliability.
You'll find that certain competing sedans and coupes are quicker, more prestigious or simply less expensive than the Accord. What's special about the Honda Accord, though, is its completeness. It scores well across a broader range of categories than practically any family-friendly sedan or coupe on the market. When examined from this holistic standpoint, it's easy to see why the Accord has become an automotive icon and remains one of our editors' top recommendations.

Solid All Around - 2003 Honda Accord
By gbtyler - February 25 - 2:00 amTraded in my Jeep Grand Cherokee LTD w/V8 for a car. I havent had a car in years and this was the best decision Ive made. This car has quirky good looks, excellent peformance, top notch interior materials and layout and the proven reliability of a Honda. So far so, good after a few months and 4,000 miles. Car is quick enough off the line and super smooth and nimble on the highway. a fun car to drive and not a burden on the gas budget. There is a slight delay in gear change from reverse to drive that takes a little getting used to.

Cant go wrong with Accord - 2004 Honda Accord
By 21-in-right - February 25 - 2:00 amI shopped Camry, Acura TL,Lexus 330, Maxima. I kept going back to the Accord for price and reputation. 6 cylinders provide plenty of pep. I only have a couple hundred miles at this point. No regrets. I expect to get well over 100,000 miles of good service. If you do your homework and shop around, you can easily beat Edmunds price projections.

AWESOME LUXO-COUPE!!! - 2004 Honda Accord
By FlyVTEC - February 25 - 2:00 amA Honda with a V6 SOHC VTEC and a 6 Speed is a match made in heaven! My car is a daily driver and Ive driven her 750 miles in my 2 weeks of ownership. So far I have nothing but superlatives to say about this car. It is fun to drive, very comfortable, good power, good looking car, the ride is a little bit on the harsh side but it is not bad at all, the leather seats are great, the standard XM radio sounds great...I am very, very pleased with this car.

Great Car! - 2001 Honda Accord
By Lghtspeedz - February 25 - 2:00 amI bought this car for the side air bags (worth an extra star in crash tests), the 6 disc, and the manual transmission. I previously owned a 94 Accord that was absolutely flawless. This car is a little more Americanized in terms of driveability. The clutch is less precise. The brakes dont last nearly as long (58k versus 100k in my old car). The new brakes are already grumbling in the rear. The gas mileage is a little less than I expected. It has a few squeaks, but the great stereo can easily tune them out. This car has been very reliable and I already have 70,000mi on it. I know that I can get in the car and it will always start.

love my accord! - 2002 Honda Accord
By brandy - February 24 - 12:36 pmI fell in love with my accord the first time I saw it! It was loaded! It had the fog lights and lip kit and aftermarket rims. Its been a great car and I have had a kit on it for a few years now. It handles well and I havent had problems with my tranny that some have had with this model accord. I love that the seat is fully adjustable cause im a shorty! If you have an opportunity you should buy one of your own!

New Honda - 2009 Honda Accord
By ScottC - February 24 - 1:23 amTook my New Accord V6 sedan on its first road trip. Seats were comfortable, unlike some reviews I have read, and the V6 delivered the pep that you wont find in a smaller engine. 300 mile round trip and temperature was in the mid 90s and it delivered 23.9 mpg with the air on and mountain driving. It has all the bells and whistles, Navi system that will take getting use to and XM radio which I have never had. Only complaint is an occasional sqeak when brakes are applied. Used the "cash for clunkers" deal so -$3500, Figured the car I traded a 1988 Jeep Pioneer with 168k was worth maybe $1000 so the rest was the sales tax. This is my first Honda and so far am very pleased.

2002 Accord LX - 2002 Honda Accord
By 2nd Accord - February 23 - 2:05 pmWe bought this car in 2004 with 30K miles. It is moderately equipped (all pwr, auto, 4cyl.). Three years later, it has only needed gas, oil, some new rubber, and a brake switch. The seats are a touch firm for my taste, but I only drive it on road trips (wifes car). Great gas mileage. Acceptably quick (typical 4cyl sluggishness off the line, but great passing power). This has been a fantastic car for us. Few complaints.

I am in love - 2013 Honda Accord
By famsert - February 22 - 9:18 pmAfter doing months of research, I finally settled on the 2013 Accord Sport and I dont regret it one bit. I got the metallic grey colour and I must say it is extremely sexy. To me the design is the perfect mix of being not too conservative but not too trendy. The interior quality is great. Soft touch all around. Couldnt be happier with it. The ride is firm and steering as natural (hydraulic) as possible for EPS. Also, this car is SOLID in turns yet it feels very lightweight. Its weird. I can see the firmness being mistaken for being too harsh though since this feels more german than most mainstream midsize cars. I personally love it and it feels like a drivers car.

Ex_Honda - 2000 Honda Accord
By tx_Honda - February 22 - 9:09 pmI am a living testament about the reliability of this car. Bought in 2000 and lost this car in 2006 in a wreck, not at fault. I put 134k in 6 years in extreme winter conditions. This car did not give a single issue in any weather, summer, winter below 0, conditions. With out an issue, I drove 180 miles daily on this for 6 months – icy, snowy conditions of WI. Only thing I did was regular oil change and scheduled maintenance. Most of all, impact at around 35 mph, Accord’s front and Malibu 06 rear right, my young son in the back seat (WEARING SEAT BELTs) – we walked away from the scene without a single scratch. If this car has factory suggested maintenance history, I will suggest buying it.
